Family car, FAMILY CAR! Smile
My wife has an 04 Toyota Sienna minivan that she drives around with the kids. It's safe (thanks to my diligence) and it seems to have good gas mileage for the weight it has. It also has a good amount of get up and go. Japanese V6 power is a respectable thing. What ever is safe for you and the family is good, bro. The Escalade is cool and has a lot of neat goodies for the baby, like a tv monitor (once installed, of course). LOL! I worked for a Caddy dealer 6 years ago and the product was and still is a solid buy for the money.

There are still very nice used ones out there for sale. I would look around. The Caddy brand doesn't get abused nearly as much as the other GM stuff in the same category. I'm just saying.
Hey Z31, I don't have a Z, but I do have a "87" 200sx waiting for me to slap a RB into it. between my Rav4 and that It seems as if I'll never get to it. I just had to invest in some home repair and most of my build money ended up going to that. I'll get there again.

I feel you on that. I seem to have that same trait, bro. I force my self to think ahead, though. It helps, yet... every so often whan I have enough I spend it on my kids or home repair or car maintenance...  It never ends.

Don't you know it. Karma has a way of making things right, though. It'll all come back around. soon i hope...
