which is a better choice

need to know if the 94-2004 mustang or 85-87 camaro irocz would be better for me. Also which has better mods  

That's like asking a food addict which type of pizza is his favorite... Both the Mustang and Camaro of any year has great potential and aftermarket support, the question lies with you as to which one you would rather be in. A Ford or a Chevy... It's not tough, but they both have their pros and cons, so you have to do research on both of them for reliability, aftermarket support and cost effectiveness of overall ownership once you've built on of them up. I had a 71 Camaro and I loved it... I drove plenty of Mustangs over the years and loved them also... If I had a choice and the money, I would get both and build them up one at a time and feel good about it. Both your choices to choose from are classic and cool rides. Again, it's up to your taste. Traditional pizza or Sicilian style? Hmmm... I like them both!
