My friend that I have been hanging with for many years decided to put a body kit on his GTI When he got it back he showed it to me and it looked like nothing I had ever seen before, he told me that he had bought a body kit AND a lip kit and said that they had put lip kit on the body kit? Is that even possible?

it can be done. there are some bodykits out there where the lines are close enough to the OEM body that aftermarket lips can fit on them no problem. not to mention some bodykits need a little extra work to get fitted on perfectly so you can make it fit if necessary depending on what lip and the body kit your friend has it can either be easy to do, difficult to do or impossible to do.

It's called "MODERFYING"!!! That's a talent I wish I learned. Lord knows that 50% of what a car has in appeal is looks. The rest speaks for itself in performance. Maybe I should look into getting back to school when my kids are old enough. I'm an old dog wishing to learn new tricks... as long as I don't have to run and jump. I'm not as young as I used to be!
How you drive is your buisness. Remember that you're not the only one on the road! Educate, don't hate.
