It's unfortunate that some of the normal shool methods of learning things like that aren't up to the task of teaching above and beyond maintenance and electrical diag.  There are some schools out there that do, though. I would tune into the Power Block on Spike TV and jot down the two schools that get advertised on there. UTI and Lincoln Tech are a couple that do that sort of thing. That's just off the top of my head. I can't remember the others. Any way, look around on the net or plant your self in front of the TV on Sunday mornings POWER BLOCK to see which one of the schools they put on in a commercial interests you the best. I learned over the years with good people who had the patience and know how. I know that most my age learned that way as well. I sort of envy you for having choices in schools that cater to that sort of trade. In a good way, though. Good luck on finding a school.
