I have to give it to Hyundai!

I was fortunate enough to have recently changed jobs from where I was at the Ford dealership. I now work at a Hyundai dealership in Waterbury Ct., Brass City Hyundai to be exact. The last job was sooooo stifling that I found my self having mental issues about going in every day. No more of that now, though. It's way busy at Hyundai and the new boss is extremely cool. Any way, to get to my point. Hyundai was catching my eye for a bit, but being in the fold and seeing first hand all the good things that hyundai has accomplished over the years is great. The brand is creating serious waves. It hit Forbes top companies list and was touted as being hated by all other car companies and loved by its customers. I've had the pleasure of working on a few models as of late and beyond the little minor insignificant issues that they have, I can't say any thing bad about the brand. The styles have gone beyond what it used to be and the electronics, though in need of simplification for the techs, is great. I'll get the hang of it. LOL! I've test driven a few models and I have to say that I'm quite impressed. I've yet to test drive a Genesis 4 cylinder turbo. I test drove a V6 model and it kicked some serious ars... Not that I jammed on it, but it had enough get up and go for me to respect. I have to admit that Hyundai is going places, people. Things to think about... OH! before I forget, Hyundai also owns KIA! I was surprised, to say the least. I did not know that. Now I do!

Meh, time will tell. They have made strides, but I am skeptical. They use cheaper steel, and it is a DSM engine after all packed with mitsubishi sensors. They will have their issues. My issue is they want a premium for these car which arent proven yet. That and its Korean, eff those guys.

Korean, but made in the U.S., bro. At least some of their cars are. The Genesis is made in Korea and shipped in. But, hey! Any one willing to keep people employed here is OK by me. You know? I just give props where props are due. That's all. I've worked on 10 year old Hyundai that still work and look as if new. I know that with care any car will last, but some of these cars are in better shape than most domestic stuff that are 5 years old. I think that's a solid statement and one that'll get me some flack. I'm a big boy, though.
