You could try to get sponsored, but that means getting noticed. You have to hit the tracks and make a lot of wins, though. That gets expensive till then. My advice, go out, have fun racing on track and make heads turn while doing it. Some one will notice and sponsor you. Before you know it, you'll be on some cover of a magazine, like Super Street! LOL! Good luck, bro. By the way, what's it look like, the car that is? I like those types of projects.

Any thing is a plus to do, considering the lack of tracks in your area. I live in Connecticut and tracks are a couple of hours in any direction from where I live. Even if a track is 4 hours from where you live, it's worth the trip to let loose, bro. Make it a day trip, of course starting at 4am, and bring the wife, girlfriend, brother, sister, dad... You get the picture. LOL!
Any way, You only go as far as you want and you are only limited as to how far you want to go. That's a motto that my martial arts teacher used to always tell me. I kind of use it for every day life experiences now. It may be worth a bit of travel for you if you are really serious about it. Remember the motto. lol!

As long as you don't have to rally down the strip, go for it! LOL! Any strip is worth getting noticed at, bro. Again, have fun while you're at it.
