Pretty dumb question

alright so i have a firebird with a 3.4 v6, my question, say i found a turbo from another 3.4 doner, say a toyota supra or porche or such in a junkyard. Would that be adaptable to my 3.4 becuase its the same engine base or does it matter what family of car its from ,  

i think as long as your engine is set up rite for a turbo,compression,an all.there will probley be some work on exhaust manifold bolt on addapter.an you might get lucky an it bolt's rite on.
