I have a KIA Rio 2002 1.5L DOHC with a T3/T4 Turbo Mod. The problem is that it leans out when shifting to second gear after boosting 8psi. I installed bigger fuel injectors from a 5.0 mustang which they fit perfect. I have a FMU (not installed) will this piece help my lean out problem if not then what can i do about this problem ? contact me at my email address jokerh2@hotmail.com for direct contact with me. all help is needed .

Not knowing how much CFMs those Mustang injectors are actually spraying is a thing I would look into. Just because they are from a Mustang doesn't mean that they are thgrowing more fuel into the chamber. If you didn't upgrade your egnition also, you might get an issue. The fuel pump may not be sending enough to the fuel rail. In short, seeing a tuner will be your next visit instead of getting advice from a forum like this, because with out having it hooked up to a scanner/computer, you'll only get blind advice and loads of possibilities. A tuner will see what's going on while the car is running and perform routine checks to see if what you have installed will work as you expected. Find a tuner with a dyno so that he can dail in a set parameter and tune your car to its max out put. Just hooking up a scanner or a computer is half of the tuning regimen. The tuner will need to see how things function under a load and so forth. It's 1.5 liter engine with a hybrid turbo. Not a bad toy, bro. I actually have respect for that. Just bring it to a good tuner and let them bring out the beast in your ride.

Sorento injectors is what you should have looked into. As S12 said not enough fuel with the OEM pump.
Simple. Go swap the Sorento injectors in and see how she runs and then upgrade the pump on it.
The t3 hybrid is nice. I'd like to see some pics of that bro.
StreetKiaz.com would def like you on our forums. We are expanding internationally.

Dude! I think I have a new hero. I have to visit the site to learn some more about Kias. I have to admit that I haven't had the pleasure of working on one yet, but being a tech for as long as I have helps me at least hang with you guys. I may not know the product that well, but cars are cars, engines are engines and all have a few thing in common: wheels, fuel and a driver. LOL! It's all good in the neighborhood!
