Honduuuuh was in the same boat about 10 or more years ago. The Spectra is rated at 138hp. Plus it's to easy to work on a honda. Everything is plug and play. I've seen this thing in action and it's fast.

Your Spectra? Cars.com says it's 125hp. What year is yours?

The Mazda 6 and WRX have such a higher power rating, thats why I didn't compare them. but if you want to bring your car into it a souped up Optima could beat a Mazda 6.
So what kind of stuff is in that Kia anyway?

honestly i wouldn't go as far as these guys went with that sephia. i have a 06 spectra5 (hatch) and truly your better off with wide fender flares and a decent fron and back body kit from KFX performance. or if your looking for something a little more extreme, you could always practie up with the glass.

Nissans, Mitsubishis, Hondas, Subarus, Lexus (Toyota product), Infinity (Nissan product), Toyotas, Acura (Honda product)... I've seen a lot of other cars besides Hondas, but compared to 4 banger domestics Imports dominate the scene. I have respect for some of the more serious domestic builds out there. Of course, there are cars that shouldn't even be mentioned due to tackyness, but over all, a well tuned car is a well tuned car. I saw the pics of the Kia, bro. It is a bit over done, but it is a project and it is original. It has a FIA production race look to it. It needs some thing, though. I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe it's the stance with the wheels it has on. A wider stance will improve its appearance some. The paint is another issue... Go lighter. It's just my oppinion, though. It's also a work in progress and I can respect that. I always said I wanted to see a build Kia and there I go, they're coming out of the wood work. LOL! I like what I'm seeing, though. So far...
