I don't completely hate it on engines, but it does make things a little hotter. Low Rider Magazine has a lot of oldies with chrome under the hood and it looks too showy for me, but for what they are trying to *** It's all good. It actually gives those oldies more value. I wouldn't drive it around every day, though. LOL!

first let me add that honda is a great company has been for years but if your looking for the heavy hittin power getters I wouldnt get a honda... honda is more of a lifestyle then anything.. back to the s2k, if you want the s2k i would get the a ap1 yes I know the ap2 looks better has l.e.d tailights and some mean projectors but the f20 is better then the f22 in many ways... sort of like the 4g63 to the 4b11 or rb26dett to the vr38dett or b18 to the b16 bla bla bla u get wut im sayin. not only does the f20 rev higher (9 grand compared to the 8 in the f22) the f20 has a bit more aftermarket support and aneways u can convert the car to look like an ap2 no prob.. but let me ask u this is rwd right for u? where do u live because if u live in a snowy region and this is ur daily then ur in for a bad winter. this car only has two seats so enjoyin vtec with ur friends wont be too good... insurance is gonna be super duper high compared to the auto civic... you sound like ur younger then 25 lol.. (im 20 dont feel bad) take many things into consideration... do you want to build this car into a beast or are you just gonna have it for a few years till u get bored? the s2k is a guud secondary car.. if i wus u and i felt like i wuud get a car i wuud sell in 3 years i wuud get somethin else, somethin fast out of the box like a speed3 or a wrx & throw on some bolt ons.... u know somethin fast, reliable mechanically and in uncertain weather conditions..somethin with a backseat lol its important for a daily believe it or not unless ur 50 goin thru mid life crisis and u got ur truck at home... if u feel like u want to get a car u KNOW u will LOVE, KEEP and build then get a civic si or integra gsr or jus get a crx shell and drop a k20(YEA) in dat... u cuud always go awd route and get a evo or wrx sti ( warning if u drive those cars ur not gonna want any honda or anything else at that) but rwd route is more for a second car trust me you dont want to be drivin in rain and ur tires arent at the best condition... sorry i wrote a lot but gettin a car is always a MAJOR deal...

...isn't that the reason, the last edition s2k's come with the original engine it first came with f20c.

the car is already a beast in my opinion. just a simple turbocharger and well...should be at the 300hp crank.

would be an amazing first car though, lol.

rwd, like 240hp to crank, manual.

and a very good handler. one of honda's best cars.

My old school s12 is rear drive and I drove it around in the snow very easily. I never got stuck with it. Drifting it in the snow was a ton of fun. Now if I could get the money to drop in the RB I want... I keep hoping the economy gets better fast! LOL!

I know, it's tearing me apart not to be able to start that project. There are some out there that have done the same as I'm planning and from what I've read from their experience is that they had a hard time with the build and getting to run right. I've researched the swap a lot and I don't see the problem. If they used all the electronics from the RBs previous chassis there shouldn't be any issues with tuning. Swapping out the wiring and all related hardware for the tuning aspect should be cut and dry. the only issue would be fitting the engine into the bay. That isn't too much of an issue as well. Mounts can be fabricated and placement can be maneuvered as needed. Axles and drive train can be custom as well. There is a place in Connecticut that is called  "Connecticut Drive shaft". They've been around for decades and make custom shafts and axles. Once the coin starts rolling in I'll be in tuning heaven. LOL! OH!

Uhhh, what? How does what you said fit into the conversation? We were talking about the possibility of a Rb swap in my car and the economy... What gives, bro? I feel you on some peoples ignorance, but stooping to their level makes you like them and I know you're not like them. Right? It's all good, bro, no hate means we keep the right attitude. Dig? LOL! I got all 70s on you. LOL!

Its all good R-33. I live in the foothils of the blue ridge mountains of West Virginia. I know how you feel. Im pretty sure at least you dont get mistaken for a porsche.(not that im complanin, people just arent as excited about a datsun) I also believe wat made you want to vent that. Winter times everyones like, you cant drive that in the winter, its not a truck, blah blah blah. No hating on trucks tho.

Yeah, Shane is right, it's all good. All you can do is smile and say that it's all good. Hey, just look at it this way. When you see them at he pumps and they fill up with $100.00 of fuel every week, you can tell them that you go a week and half with just $25.00! That'll fume any one with a truck. Not that I dislike trucks, they are good for some things, just not fuel economy. LOL!
Hey Shane, I love Nissan and Datsun stuff. My first car at 16 was a "71" Datsun 240Z. I spent a lot of my earnings to build that car. I loved it. I wish I could find another. My second car was a "73" 240Z and my third was a "77" 810 Maxima wagon. What was cool was that they all had the RB20, L24 race block engine in them. They were all inline 6 engines.

The S2K is a tight vehicle... can't argue that. I wonder if Honda made any choices on what they will make it look for the on coming years.

I came back home with broken ribs and a fractured clavical... I won, at least! LOL! The most painfull 5 grand I ever made, well, maybe not the most painfull, but good coin, though! LOL! Nice city, I wish I had time to tour it back then.
