Okay so, first off. I have a 1995 Acura Integra LS, BUT I pretty much got it for free (I traded my clunker Grand Cherokee).
It needs a new passenger side rear quarter panel for sure, and a little body work/paintjob. I would love to make a car buid and have an Integra as a show car, my first question is, Is the body damage, and needing an engine upgrade worth doing, or would it be better to sell it and another car of mine to buy an Integra gsr? Or would it be around the same price to get the quarter panel welded on, and swap a b18c, or b18c1 engine into the car with the intent on turbocharging it later on?

Help wanted:
A place to buy cheapish engine parts, a cheap body work place?  I'm a newbie to this stuff, but started with a tune up, intake, and cat back exhaust, and i'm craving  more power, speed, and looks. Any help is greatly appreciated. Email me? vetrayed@live.com

ebay can be a very good source but you have to keep an eye out for con artists

Yeah, I was looking on ebay and saw "$69.99 Coilover Kit" "$119.99 4pc strut set" and was like..."wtf not real, or not good stuff"  But I am thinkin about getting there headlights and taillights on there because those aren't really performance stuff, they just look good. But should I get a b18c1, or can I take parts from a b18c1 and put them in my b18b? Or should I just get a b18c1 engine and tranny at the local junkyard and recondition everything, clean it etc.

Okay, so right now I have a 2.5 inch exhaust, and an intake, that's about it lol. I may have a guy that will do the body work and give me custom paint job cheap. And I'm planning on getting a body kit in the near future (Before I get it painted, possibly after the body work though) I have a manual trans, it's the body is a 1995 Acura Integra Hatchback LS, with a B18B1 engine. I was wondering what performance parts I should invest in, and what engines/trannys I could drop in with little to no modification. I already know I'm gonna get an aluminum radiator/fan, silicone hoses, and an intercooler set up BEFORE I swap engines if I can, just so I don't risk blowing a "new" engine (new to me). If anyone has advice, help is greatly appreciated. Once I start getting parts and work done I'll post some before/after pics just to keep track of my progress. And I'm definately looking foreward to the new magazine Project Car!

its pointless to have an intercooler if the turbo isn't on. the b18c1 is the most popular swap for them. its a great motor. if you were willing to do a somewhat extreme swap you could do a k20 out of the 06+ si or h22 out of the old prelude srv's. other than intake/exhaust, maybe a header, aluminum crank pulley or tune. all of which are simple and quick with decent gains

Which would be the best for price/power? Basically, which engine would i get the most for my money? And boost the value of the car the most?

Well, I'm hopin to get a B18C1 for cheap, or order a B18C5, but that's not until I get the body work and stuff done. I'm gonna try and upload pics later tonight. But, I am going right after school to get everything inspected by a couple mechanics and make sure there is nothing big wrong with it now, and to find out whatall I should expect to have to buy sooner rather than later.

The Update: Okay, so I found a guy to do my body work on the car REALLY cheap, like I get the parts and he'll do it free. I need Rear quarter panels from the door bacfk to the tail lights, and the strip that goes below the tail lights. Can ANYONE help me find a store or a website that sells quarter panels? They are part of the body and must be cut off, then welded on. Also, I changed out my rear rotors and pads and stuff yesterday, Autozone has a good deal on rear slotted and drilled rotors...couldn't find a good deal on the front ones though. So I need rear quartes, the passenger side is most important. If anyone knows of or can find them post it please. And I'll plug in some pics once I can get ahold of the panels. Before and after of all the visable stuff I do. And anyone know when I could subscribe to project car mag?

Well, I got my first speeding ticket....and i was only doin 58, cop pulled me over and said i was doing 72. Lying cops arghh. Well, with this two week pay check and a bit of savings I plan to order a clutch/flywheel and everything. Anyone got a good one they wanna share? And by good I mean stage 2 or 3, good one. One that doesn't jar THAT bad, yet is light, and can withstand some high heat and speed. The clutch ALSO has to be able to make it in the long run, 2-5 hour drives without TOO much wear n tear. Post some links, and stuff.

Well, yesterday I was on my way home from a college visit and I noticed that the gauges said my car was in the red on heat (It was overheating). I got out of the car opened the hood...and it seemed like everything was the normal temperature. So I figure my thermostat is effed up. So the question is, what's the best thermostat out there for a good price? The one I was lookin at was Mishimoto, simply because it has a lifetime warranty, and I can get an entire cooling system from them. So next question is... Should I just get the thermostat and hope that it fixes the problem, and use some money towards a clutch as well; or should I just get everything cooling related (Radiator, Silicone Hoses, Fans, Thermostat, Fan Switch, and if I have enough an aluminum overflow tank) Which would for sure without a doubt fix the problem.
