Naw! My Rav is tame compared to any thing else spoken about here. My dreams are to make it a beast, but until coin starts to flow, I don't see it happening soon. My 1987 s12 is in that same boat... waiting. I have some stuff waiting for it to be put in, like a 300Z trans and a rear diff and drive shaft from a the same 300Z, but it's the engine I want to be fickle about. I don't just want any engine... RB26DETT, maybe even a RB30 build up... Just thoughts, though. Coin is tight... as always...
At least I can build the engine my self and put it in. I have a tuner waiting for it as soon as I get the project going... That coin, though...

That would be a cool event... I haven't seen many old school 200sx like mine featured. It's a goal for me now. LOL!

I would like to build it for drift and road courses so a completely tuneable suspension and rear LSD diff would be a must... Most of the body will be redone to mate with a reworked floor and tube chassis system, to lighten it up... I'm not sure at this time, though. I still want it streetable, too. I have to sit with a fabricator and plan things out before I go crazy. There is a Fab shop in my home town that's been around a bit and supposedly is well known around the country. One of the techs in my shop used them to weld up a 4 link rear suspension on his old school Ford Lightning. The truck is a real monster and the work done on the rear suspension is top notch. I have to planthings out, though. the engine and drive train is my project. I'm no body man. LOL!

On a brighter note, at least I made some coin since last I wrote... It all went to a new refrigerator, though. Dang, if they ain't expensive! If it's not one thing, it's another... DANG!

Shane-O-Mac: Yea, even when the GTO was a drift car for formula d, it was rolling without a body kit. Maybe Pontiac has a aero package. IDK, just throwin ideas out there.
Pontiac had a special aero package for that GTO thought. Plus, i just found out that my '02 Trans Am WS6 was the last one made.

I still think that GM should have seriuosly planned a bit better before letting go of Pontiac. I liked the monsters they made. Man! that last gen GTO was real pretty and made waves like no other. I wanted one and couldn't get my wife to budge. Again,... MAN! I have more "choice" words, but I'm staying kosher for the kids.

Some times the colorful words make more sense to use, but it doesn't get respect. Thanks. Any way, I got test drive a 2008 GTO today just before the snow began to fall. It had an engine skip on a load. It was an intermitent coil issue. It didn't happen often, but when my customer stepped on the fuel pedal it seemed to sputter. Some one told him it was a fuel issue, but my Snap On Modus scanner said differently. The bank and cylinder affected was evident with the scanner and it even pin pointed the coil that was intermitently failing under a load. The coil had a crack on the epoxy material that's used to seal the electronics that make it work. I had to download some software that I had to get from the Snap On site to be able to do that test. There's another piece of hardware that connects to the Modus for it, but getting the software helped in that. Technology is great! Any way, I fixed his issue and he was made a happy man. Happy ending for a cool car.

I saw it in a magazine at Stop&Shop the other day. I think it was a prototype Trans Am, but it looked really cool. I drooled at the pics, bro. I'm not a happy camper about GMs deciding how they did. What a car, bro. BEAUTIFUL! I'm speachless.
