im not a big fan of the 3000gt... the jdmness of the gto just makes it sooo apealing. I agree though, the s7 is b-e-a-utiful(Jim Carey ftw!)

justin-vr4:
my car has JDM tail lights, does that count? lol

lol. dont get me wrong. I like the 3000gt... I just don't like it like I like the gto

The AZ-1, huh? I like it. The funkyness of it is appealing to me. Call me crazy. And Mazda makes it... Rightious!
The GTO does have some thing about it over the 3000GT. I guess it's the lines or the fact that it's been raced in D1. I'm with 2000Hcsi on this. I don't hate it, but I don't like it, like it. Wow, I sound like I'm trying to talk to a girl  and saying that I don't like her, like her. It's just friends. You know? And then I get smacked! LOL!

I didn't think there was any difference in the lines between the 3kgt and GTO. In fact, I thought the only major difference was that the NA GTO has AWD (as opposed to FWD here in the US)

To be honest with you guys, this is the first picture of that cool little car that I've seen. I've never seen that car here in the North East ( Connecticut). What's going on that we don't see those models here? That's messed up. I envy you guys, (in a good way).

I guess its different all over because here in Mid East (North Carolina) I see a little bit of everything... and the fact that other than L.A. we are the street racing capital of the US has nothing to do with it

I'm with s12rapido, here in CT we see... pretty normal cars. The exception being the exotics near the casino, and the enormous Muscle car scene.

I think I saw that Mazda before... in Gran Turismo lol

That would be why I almost recognized it lol. Here in NC, there are some nice exotics too. Incfact I was downtown the other day and I seen a Mercedes Mclaren and a Ferrari 599. We have them all over, just happens that I live on the better side of town though...

Not to be kinda rude, but I hate that little car, sounds like a death machine to me lol. Small, lightweight, meaning there is nothing to pretect you in a wreck and powerful. worst combo. I like the safety or atleast the feeling of it I get in a muscle car...

The same can be said of the Smart car, the T-Rex motor cycle hybrid, the MR2, the Miata and so on and so on. My point? If hit hard enough, any car is a death trap. Case in point, My last trip to Spain was when I got married. On a trip to a sight seeing point we passed an accident that involved a Volvo and a Ford pick up truck. ( The Fords look different in Europe) Any way, they both looked unrecognizeable and there were 5 body bags  from both the vehicles on the side of the road. True that the little cars are more of a death trap than most bigger cars, but any thing can take your life in a blink of an eye.
If mortality is an issue try sky diving, land speed record braking, base jumping, rock climbing, skiing, boat racing... There is danger in every thing we do in life. Try being a mechanic where the shop doesn't maintain its equipment and hasn't in over 15 years. That's my world at this moment. If I worried about the possibility of a lift failing on me, I wouldn't work at all. It is what it is.
I get what you're trying to say, but nothing and I mean "nothing" is safer than doing "nothing". What would you like to be doing if given a choice. Drive a little "unsafe" car or be in your house watching TV and not seeig the world up close? I prefer to go out, even if the ride is a death trap.
