Hey tech support guys I know you guys are super smart and will be able to answer my ? I hope. I have a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT V6 Cali Spec and have recently done some work to it. I bought some Megan Racing Headers and had to take off the old headers but when I removed the old ones I also removed 3 catalytic converters! I sucks cause now my check engine light is on and it bugs the crap out of me that and I got emissions in 1yr(I live in Arizona its once every 2yrs). But I have not really tried anything because I dont have the least bit idea were to start. I heard by putting some things called NO Cell which is just a cover for the O2 sensors but I have 3 so its kinda costly with a dead end job and also I go to school (UTI) so I'm broke. Please help me out and give me some answers. Thank you.

The only thing I could suggest is to figure out on how to reinstall the o2 sensors where they need to go. The only other issue you have that may still keep the MIL on is the fact that there aren't any cats for the system to see the changees in gases. You sorta put your self between a rock and a hard place with the set of headers you have. I would have saved a bit more and completelt redone the engine to accept a turbo and then got it tuned to get max out put. You could also visit a speed shop neerest you to get the thing tuned to what you have installed, (good luck). There are a few variables when installing headers on any vehicle and some work well with out the light coming on and some others need some tweeking at a tuning shop to make it work. Unfortunately, with the way the emissions laws are from state to state, you may find your self in a heap of poop for not having the cats on. Unless it's a race car, put the cats back on, return the headers (or sell them), save the money and go turbo (with the appropriate engine build). That's my advice. It may not be what you want to hear, but it's the only real option you have, considering the dilemna you have with the headers and not being able to afford a real upgrade. Good luck and I hope some one can give you more than I could.
How you drive is your buisness. Remember that you're not the only one on the road!
