I am posting this forum because I am interested about peoples experience and stories with cars. How did you get into racing with cars, working on cars, things like that.
What do you do with cars today? Race? Run a shop? Just plain mod and tune your own car to perfection? Opinions? Whatever.

Me, idk wat got me started with cars, i guess real car hotwheels. As long as i can remember, ive ALWAYS loved cars! I guess my racing passion started wuth drag racing. Yet again, i dont know too much, but i was little flipping through channels and saw funny car racing. My ove grew to old skool muscle cars when i was little. I used to want a 67 stingray. Tuxedo'd. Black with a white stripe. Then around 2002. I fell in love with the Japanese cars! Can we guess what movie started that? Give you a hint, "Your in my good graces, but you aint keepin ya car."

I'd guess that my want to race, has always been in my blood. My grand father was a cop and had 10 chases in a lil S.C. town. My dad used to street race in P.A. with his cutlas supreme. My mom raced a few times in her mustang, camaro, and galaxy, street race also. So i guess the "Need For Speed" is just embeded in me.

I would, one day, like to own my own tuning shop. Everything from a paintjob, new rims on your car, all the way to  taking a suzuki Cappacino and turning it into a R36 GT-R. whenever it comes out, and 5.0 engine swap into a smart car.

All i really know is cars are my passion!!!!!!!!!

whats going on. guess what got me interested in cars was the fact that my father has always had me working with him on his cars, from there my interests only grew, i started taking everything apart and "trying" to put it back together. as the years past i grew away from the older cars and got hooked on the 240sx.  the first one i owned was a 1994 coupe that got wrecked, then a '92 fastback that i ended up selling, and last was a '94 convertable where the engine crapped the bed.  from there i got another ka4de with a manual tranny and did the engine and tranny swap, did the usual intake and exhaust mod and then had the interior redone with black leather and replace the steering wheel with one from nizmo.  i have plans of doing an rb26dett swap once we get back from afganistan, but right now the car is far from finished. hope things are running good on your end, lata

Well, for starters I thought this would get more replies, but anyway

I'd have to say Shane o Mac that Ive also been into cars since hot wheels and yes even though alot of people talk alot of trash about those movies those kinda got me into the street racing side of cars alot more. And even though i love tuners I have always wanted an 81 foxbody mustang

By the way thats funny my dad was a cop in miami

Ive always loved building things but unfortunately ive never had the money or circumstances to be able to work on cars

Still tryin though
