hey guys this is my first post and was wonder what vw has to offer. Im in the market for a jetta or a golf. but there are so many different types. tdi, 1.8t, vr6, and r32. Im looking for an engine that i can dump 4 or 5 grand into and make good power. Let me know what you think of what type of motor to look for. Even if its not a jetta or golf.

i would have to say if you are looking for a fast VW, all of them are pretty fast but if you want alot of power you might want to look at the VW R32, these cars are uber rare and super fast they already come with a bigger turbo and AWD. But also look into spending $30,000+. me i would probably go with a special ed. jetta or a golf GTI. The TDI's are more for saving gas but these are fast too but also expensive.
Drive the way you want but pay attention to your surroundings.
