The effects of drinking and driving...must watch

This post should get a sticky...at least I think so but anyways everyone should watch this and spread it to everyone so all people who go out driving drunk can watch the consequences and maybe get it through their head to not drink and drive...I will warn you now this video is very graphic so if you have a weak stomach just skip the parts that it tells you to skip to. you might also have to make a youtube account to watch this because you must confirm your age before you can view it.

I can imagine though. Street racing and drunk driving produce some of the most grotesque images I've ever seen.  

yep they have one in here where a girl took her dads car and wrecked it and the outcome of it is pretty bad.

I've seen too many instances of this type of thing. The worst of them all happened to some of my friends. They got hit by a drunk driver and never made it to the place they were actually going to, due to a drunk driver. Of the five friends that got hit by the drunk driver, 3 died... in the same car. The drunk fool that hit them only got bumps and bruises. He should be put out of his misery. There is no excuse to drink and drive. NONE! It's never the drunk idiot that suffers loss. He hurts people and even his own family, but never him self. That pisses me off.

same here we need to get these guys that drink and drive OFF THE ROAD! But thats why this video was made because the lady lost her daughter because of a drunk driver and the drunk got away with hardly anything...Its not right at all I can give you that one

I understand what you mean. There are services around that cater to peoples need to get drunk. They don't have to drive any where. All they have to do is call the service and schedule a pick up when they would think they would like to go home, sorta like a taxi service for party goers who've had too much. I forget the name of the companies that started it.
With all the laws and information regarding this subject, I'm surprised to know that people still risk crashing and/or getting caught by the police. Then, some people wonder why the cops are infuriated with those types. Their jobs are hard enough, they don't need more agrivation from idiots that drink too much and then drive. You know?

yeah I heard of those I can't remember the names either actually I haven't even heard the commercials or anything for those anymore...I think they should give a harsher punishment for those who drink and drive because its like you pay a fine get some days in jail go to dui school and try it again at least for those who didn't get the point the first time....

any drunk drives should get there licence should be taken away for life or given some sort of card they have to show when buying booze so they can be charged more for it.  

That's a good idea, to some degree. They should at least pay more for their addiction to booze. Since they showed IWD, irresponsibility while drinking, They should pay a higher premium for things. Like what insurance companies do to people when they are getting into too many accidents. It would serve them right to pay extra and serve some real time. Restart the chain gange clean up crews, SOME THING! You know?

They used to have chain gangs back in the day up until the early 80s. Then some bleeding heart liberal made a big stink about human right and all that. When some one kills another person, be it by accident due to DWI or on purpose, They should pay a serious debt to society with real hard labor, severe community service, military time under the hospice of the military police, SOME THING. Our judicial system is unfair, bias and completly wimped out when it needs to be harder on things. Take those border patrol agents that are still behind bars for doing their jobs. It was a drug smuggler running from the law! Enough said. It's unfair, period. The ones that need to be severly punished get a carte blanche and the people who've done nothing get hung. WOW!

thats exactly it everyones wimped out and the laws arent what they need to be these days and because of that nothing is how it should be, so unlawful things happen and they just look the other way and dont take the proper action that should be taken...they need to sit on it and come up with something that will bring the order back to this world and stop all of the corruption that goes on behind the closed doors.

That requires a honest person with real political and judicial power. Too bad Washington lacks those qualities as a whole. It's up to THE PEOPLE to get worked up about the system and get the individuals that REPRESENT us to do their jobs. Not enough people write to their representstive, though, they just sit on their duffs and twiddle their thumbs wondering why things don't get done. I write to mine every time there is an important issue. That's why there are town meetings.

yeah we need some of those honest people back in the world to help fix things but hey a few people and a few meetings can make one big turnaround.
