That is a serious ouch. Why would any one risk all that hard work and effort, not to mention the loads of money that was poured into the project, just to lose it to a crusher due to racing on the streets? Not me. Any one with a little common sense, like us guys, would see the nonsense in that. I know it's fun to live on the edge and all, but to lose your ride after all that you poured into it is stupid. With all the tracks available across the country, what's the deal? I ask and I know the answer. It's a rhetorical question, to say the least. LOL! I say again, NOT ME! My 200sx is going to be 25 years old in three to four years. Once I get the engine I want for it, NOTHING and I mean NOTHING will make me race on the streets with it. Classics deserve an official venue to see their classicness, so to speak. LOL!

I know how you feel, brother. It just doesn't make sense some times. If you have to ravel a bit to race on a track, I'd rather spend the fuel money and not lose my car. LOL! It's the smart thing to do!

lol well at least if your on a track and your going 100+ when your brakes fail you don't have to worry about running into another car and being put in jail for killing somebody. you just have to worry about not flying through your window when you hit the barrier at the end of the track LOL!

Very true, indeed. The only risk you have to you is, well... YOU. You know? No one gets hurt, (almost no one), and the cops don't mess with you. On the streets, though, any risk is too much risk. At least in my book.

You say and stick to a track.. Well where do they even have tracks? Like do they have tracks specificly for things such as "Street racing"? Because I thought not, but if so I would like to be informed

The best thing to do is to get a very basic Honda/acura or something like that.
Get one that is running but Not more than 250+ horses.
try and get a stick and just work on shifting and getting use to the car.
Than upgrade with very basic things like intake, fuel injectors and start off small.
U don't have to b running with the big dogs at such a young age.
Theirs guys that are 30+ that still don't wanna run more than 400+ hp.
So start off slow and get Ur head on and looking forward. Think logically

man all u have to do is LOOK
so many ppl just HOPE.
If u look hard enough and do the old tire kick trick u can get stuff for a lot cheaper than u think.
Buying from ppl in the way to go for cheap things.
Just gotta get them to bring down the price and don't act to eager.
U have to act very chill and relaxed and not sure because than there extremely willing to bargain

Civic and Integra...maybe Prelude those look good and I had even seen one for sale that had around 215HP. The guy only wanted 3 or 4 thousand for it. Automatic though, but it had some kind of sport shifter thing so you could manually change the gears in the car I don't really know much about it. Drag strips Extacie like this one here in my state http://okthunder.com/ they usually put on a good show.
