Recently, some of the SS forum recipients and I had a discussion about how the economy is and also how slim the issues of all the media titles have become. I know that times are tough and that some rough decisions have to be made some times. It's all good. I can under stand that. My only question is, why not combine titles for a while, just until the economy picks up and people can afford all the issues that they would want? DC Comics and Marvel Comics did that some time ago and sales of that great cross over went through the roof. I have all the issues. LOL! Any way, I collect SS, IT and Modified as well as a few other titles from the same media group. They all lost weight. How about a cross over? The people have spoken. (Or is it asked?) You know what I mean! LOL!

I wonder how long we have to wait for an answer before they read this? A simple response would suffice.

You should all know by now that they don't monitor these forums.

Anyway, I let all my subscriptions expire except for D-Sport.  This mag reigns supreme!!!!!!  But I'm more or a racer than a shower nowdays.  After 12 years of competing in car shows, they have gotten quite boring.  It's all about racing in the Redline Time Attack events, and D-Sport covers them very well and quickly too.  There is no 3 to 4 month gap between the event and the feature.  Superstreet has become a high school kids magazine, but that's just my personal opinion.

Dude...
I have to admit that D-Sport is on target, though. Ever since the pages shrunk on SS, I've been looking at D-Sport more. Hate me, but SS is letting things slide. Hey carcass, it was worth a shot at least. How are things on your front, bro? I haven't seen you much on the forum. Are things cool?

Doing fine and surviving being a full time student and working part time.  1 more year to go.

I've been mainly focusing on making my car a better time attack car and I really cut back on shows.  Everything is in pieces now as I prep for the Redline Time Attack event at Willow Springs at the end of next month.

My car club is grawing at an astonishing pace as well.  It's very difficult to keep up now.  In face, I don't even know everyones names now.  Why we got so popular all of a sudden I have no idea.  But I guess it's a good thing.  Just alot of extra work.  School is my priority though.

Anyway, all is good except for my income.  LOL!!  I hope things are going well for you as well.  Take it easy.

It's unfortunate that a few of the titles had tobe let go, but I doubt anyone will get the answer they want here. You'd get a better answer by mailing in you concern to the editors directly. It might even get featured in the "Mail Sack"

Hey carcass, it's good to hear things are ok for you. You have a good head on your shoulders concerning school. Keep up the good work, bro, and good luck on the track. I'm cheering for you.
Hey DYonehara, I might do that. It seems as if getting to the heads of the media is the only way to make them see what we want. No harm in trying.
