its good to know your car in and out, but seriously we're not in a video game, you can learn to drive your car just by driving it everyday. you dont need to install every mod to learn your car, and somethings youre just gonna have to have a pro install its ok, it doesnt make you a ***

Very true. It's been 20+ years since I started as a tech, but that's how I started. Still learning, though. It's a never ending thing when the technology changes year to year. It's all good, though.

im also looking into building a tuner I guess you could say, but I don't know crap about imports as far as engines and performance goes, I don't have money to go out and buy a car but someone I know has a 91 maxima they will give me for nothing, I have looked for body kits for it but have only found about 2 or 3 wich I though was odd. Should I take the maxima and fix er' up or should I pass and save up for something different?

I'm curious. My friend just got an 04 nissan altima stock, and I'm just wondering if this motor'll fit lol.

It is work and my friend is completely right. It ain't going to be easy. You would need the PCM and some of the harness as well, unless you're good with wiring, splicing and stuff. Not a bad find, though. How many miles are on the engine and will it have the intake and stuff on it. I'm looking at it as I write and I noticed it came off of a rear wheel drive car. It may not bolt up to the transmission that the KA is bolted up to. You may end up having to find a transmission as well. Like 2000Hcsi and I said, it isn't going to be easy. For the work involved, you may as well advise him to look for a s13 and build that. It would be easier than messing with a front drive platform.
