Some of you may remember I asked for help some time ago. I build the site www.codejdm.net and targeted european jdm enthusiasts in order to provide a place where european jdm enthusiasts can share information and most important share the passion for japanese rides. After having finished the site I made some advertisement on the most common forums here in europe. I posted on Mitsubishi, Honda, Toyota, Nissan and Mazda forums. I tried everything. So now is another (hopefully not last) attempt to get some action on the site. Statistics show that the site has about 30 unique users a day which is (for a not so popular site) quite good. About 20 users are non-European so I definitely failed. I would like to have some more action but I must admit I failed my goal. Sometimes you must simply admit that you failed What I noticed is that the only ones who helped me get some content are you guys from the USA. I don't know why this is so, but I noticed the last months that if you ask an american guy to help you he don't asks what to do but is very enthusiastic and provides as much help as he can. So did turboz32, sleeper and dsgn93 with their rides and carcass allowing me to post his great Saturn turbo build articles. On the other hand european forums closed my forum posts or simply ignored them. Ok, ok, I tried I failed. Now since I put very hard work into the site it would be sad if I just would close the site so it will remain open. I thought of asking you guys here from the superstreet community if you are intersted to post maybe your rides or just head over a visit and tell me your opinion and or critics (Maybe critics will help me more, so I can improve the site). Would be great and I want to thank you in advance for your assistance.

Here's some advice, bud. Only because I've visited the site as well and find it very cool. I don't wan't you to fail either. You have to do some foot work, ask your target audience what it is they seem to find unappealing about the site or what they would like to see. Any thing they say may lead you to an answer. You can ask 100 Americans advice and they can all say that it's a cool site, but your target audience is what you need to make your site a success. You will have to go around and maybe do some traveling to see what others in the European union like in a web site or maybe make a focus group of some kind and get info like that. Pics of girls would help a lot, but it's not the only thing people visit sites for. I've seen the stuff you have on the site and it's way cool, but Americans aren't your target audience, though you've won most of us over. LOL! Your site is a new place for me to visit so that I can see the Euro-import scene. It's cool to see what's going on there. The only way to get your target audience is to do the foot work and get input from them or be like a reporter and take pictures your self and have an interview with the cars owner so that you can put the material on the site. The advice is hard work for you, but if you want to make it work you may just have to go out to get the shots and interviews as well as get pics in from viewers. It's a new site and you have to see what every one wants to see on it. I hope this helps you and good luck, really.

I'm really sorry for having to bring it to you that way, but, yeah. Never give up, though. You have some thing good going on and any thing good is always hard to do and worth doing. You know? Besides, a little hard work never hurt any one. Right? LOL! Just know that you have American based fans of the site. I'm one and you know who else is. They've helped you already. Cool? And, you are very welcome. Any thing to help a fellow automotive lover. Once I get the money together, I'll build my rides and send you serious clips of the build and how it goes. Maybe I'll be able to get some shots of some girls on the car as well! LOL! It's always good to have as much material as possible. Your site fans will like that.

You're not kidding about that, TH. I'm sure g_racer will get things rolling. It took a lot to get the site up and seeing his desire to succeed, I know he will. Any thing is possible with some hard work. I can't wait to participate in his site with some of my pics so that it can be a great site for all. That way, Europeans can see what we do and we can see what they do. A colaboration of sorts. Keep pluggin away at it, g_racer. We here in the States know that you can do it. By the way, any visit to your site from any one other than Europeans is not failing. You have a braoder audience than you anticipated. That's all. Just look at it that way. Your doing some thing big and you don't even know it, bud. The cup is half full, not half empty. LOL! And what's funny is that it will continue to get more full the more you work at it. It will pay off in the end. Be cool, brother.
