You're not looking at the whole picture. Very few people buy Ferraris and Lamborghinis for track cars. You can't pull up to the Concourse de Elegance in your Subaru and expect to win anything or draw any tail, while the story would be quite different in a 32 Ford or Reventon. Sure your car may be fast, but cars aren't always built for speed.
In regards to your question about who would win, the Ferrari or the GTR, I'm pretty sure the Ferrari won in a track test when it was pitted up against the GTR, GT3, and the new ZR1, although I can't be sure. It was posted in a recent issue of Motortrend. Maybe you should check out their site? Granted it's impressive to see a Nissan and a Chevy get very similar numbers to a Ferrari and Porsche.

Considering how long the Europeans have been at the horse power game, I can believe it. They've been at it longer than the U.S., that's for sure. I know that Aston Martin has a 1000hp luxury sport sedan that one of the magazines crashed. I think it was Car and Driver. I'm not too sure, though. It could have been a Jaguar... I do know that it was only one of a few that were hand made, at the time, and it was really, really expensive. Kinda funny, though. LOL!

ok im sorry but i have been threw like a 100 posts and the GTR guy is kind of bothering me, no offence to you homie but you have mentioned your car something about your car, compared your car in like half the posts its driving me nuts. its a great car i get that but honestly its a race vagina you could get some 16 year old kid in there and he could drive and out perfom those cars thats not a race, its a 350z on steroids with a new skyline feel and motor. if i was gonna spend 70-90k on the car i would spend a lil more and get a ZR1 which would spank it left and right now thats to say in my opinion thats not a race car the Dodge Viper is a race car it doesnt have traction controll, launch mode bull *** like that its a street legal race car thats a real car....my verdict overpriced, over marketed, OVERRATED

Considering that the Skyline spanked all those cars you mentioned... I would see the results online from the people who did the tests. I was sold once I saw that. There's a reason why the Skyline is also known as GODZILLA! The Skyline does not have the same chassis as the 350Z as you think. The only time they did that was when they first introduced the Skyline through Infinity with the G35 chassis. It only came out one year in very limited numbers due to the fact that they had a completely new chassis for the line up, which is the one we know so well now. It's new, it's hard and it still rocks the pants of of a ZR1! Seen it with my own two eyes in Florida. Not once, not twice, but 5 times. An dit out performed the ZR1 at Daytona! I think that the ZR1 is a very sexy car, too, but it's out of its league with the new Skyline. (Maybe the ZR1 had a poor driver...) I'll never know.
