I have a 1999 Grand Am Se inline 4 cyl with a 2.4 Liter Intake. I havent dont any engnine mods yet im still in high school. I've put a grand into rims and tires but i dont know what i should do for the hp in my car. I was wondering if anybody knew how i could gain some quick hp fairly cheap like under $500. I am also wondering if it will be worth it. I might just be being dumb and wasting my money. I love cars and am currently saving up for a 350Z. I am wondering if you guys think I should save or get a different care than the Z? What do you guys think?

well its probably not worth it for an se but if your saving up for a 350z you'll probably have to wait for quite a while cause they're not cheap. for under 500 you can get an intake and not much else.

As of yet, no Kia has graced the minds of the performance market. It's not "THE" car to build. Why would you. They are pretty good as a daily driver. Not that I'm swaying you away from what ever desire you have with it, but there isn't much in the way of support for Kia in the aftermarket. Try seeing if you can get a universal kit, or some thing. Pontiacs are nice. Not many, that I've ever seen, have been done up. I would save up for the Z or some thing comparable, like a RX, Civic SI, Supra, G35, Lexus Is300, etc., etc. The amount of comparable cars, out there, is very good. Shop around and compare or see what it is you're looking for in a car. It's worth doing your home work.

It's funny that scientist have been saying that the planet is undergoing severe changes due to carbon emissions and the governments of the world are negating all signs. Some places are in a severe drought and other places that really never get rain are getting it in spades. Funny.

I have a future project in the garage and my rav4. The Rav is not done up completely. I installed a Bosal Bro-Speed cat back exhaust, Bomz short cold air intake, Bilstein sport shocks and strut inserts for lowered vehicles and H&R, 1.5"drop springs all the way around. I had the computer reprogrammed a little and am pushing under 145hp. Stock is 138hp. It's all wheel drive and loads of fun to drive. The future project is a 1987 Nissan 200sx RWD platform. It's known as the S12 or the Silvia in other countries. It's the 1st, or 2nd, gen silvia. LOL! It's kinda funny knowing that. I didn't expect it. LOL! My plans are for a RB26 swap, turbo, PCM and stuff. It's going to be a labor of love. What do you have on the works?
