lol its annoying... just really annoying... plus ithink a 500+hp 4cyl is more impressive then a 600=Hp V8.. though your car sounds beastly..WRX STI vs. 240sx hmm now thats a tough choice.. both awsome cars

yea my integra was making 492hp to the wheels just on boost but i sold it cuz i want a rear wheel drive or a awd so i can get into drifting and yes i can drift my ss its a lil heavy in the a$$ end tho but it does alright i set it up for the street and set the suspension up for curves it handles the curves better than my uncles 04 z06 vette

That sounds great but it still has to pass the drift test against a Skyline. I should retract and say that it should go against the new GTO. LOL! It's rear wheel drive and hits harder than the vintage SS he wants to destroy. I say vintage because they are hard to see around any more. Supe it up and baby that SS. Don't be a turd and risk destroying what's hard to find lately. I'm partial to the SS. It's a cool car. My cousin had one, in which I became a man in, (LOL, needed to share that memory, sorry) and it was a nice ride. All I'm saying is that American muscle is great but when it's too heavey, compared to imports pushing near or the same HP, it's a no win for the American muscle. The SS is just too heavy for real competition in drift. It's cool to see it drifting, don't get me wrong, but for competing... it's out of its element. You know? LOL!

Hm although I race an import now the car I used to race was a mostly stock Vette Z06 exept 4 NOS and it took a SEVERLY modified tuner to beat me and yes thats always street racing never a drag so I had all the disadvantages of the supposed inferior handling so I have to say for the most part imports take a lot of tuning. The up-side to that is that they generally cost less so people can spend that exta money to upgrade it and by the time it was fast enough to beat me they had spent about the same amount as my Z06 so Ill be the first in the world to say it -if u look at it that way the two are about the same...-

Yeah, but a Vette is sorta purpose built. It's sport car already. The cat wanting to drift his SS was going to destroy a bit of Americana for the joy of drifting. Just to get it to do what the big boy drifters do would require him to modify the classic to a mere image of what it was. You know? It's like taking a 49 Mercury Custom, (my all time favorite car), and destroying it through mods just for drift... I like old cars and they should be built for muscle status and shows not drift.

V8 > 4 banger.
I'm a Ford truck man though so I guess I'm slightly biased.
But even in cars I prefer the throaty burble of a V8 over the raspyness of an i4. My dad had a v8 Grand Cherokee for years before his 6cyl and my mother owns a 2002 Mercedes Benz e430 4matic and before that a 1997 E420 so I kinda grew up with them.
But I do like 4 cylinders. The Subaru boxer engine is my favorite sound wise and I have A LOT of respect for my friend's 220k+ mile Saab 9-3se, on the original engine.
I just prefer 8 cylinders. They sound better, they last longer usually, and they are AMERICAN DAMN IT!

um 4 bangers actually last longer because they're built by better companies. i grew up with v8's to, my dads got a 69 camaro and a 78 vette so don't get me wrong, i love muscle but in many ways 4 cylinders are better. other than low end power v8's don't have much on them

LOL but it is true. Honda subaru and toyota are the three best made vehicles. Gm and "gulp" ford are getting better but they are still behind. I may be a gm guy at heart but they just aren't as good. Therefore I'm a honda guy
