I just recently got an 86 celica GT and it looks like it could have some potential but i am new to the toyota seen and havent seen anything dome with my car. r there any words of advice on performance and looks?  

kk well i guess i shoudnt be giving advice seeing that i dont no a thing about toyotas lol but if i were you id check around the web for body kits if looks are a concern and performance wise id start with of course koni coil overs and some nice big brembo brakes then head to hks.com or what ever and check out parts are download a catolog

that is a drift car dont waste your money on bodykits *** like that, an unfortunatly there is little performance upgrades unless you  bore it all out an get a new bottom end  

Its a fairly nice car as is, best you can really do is the usual, Body kits, intakes, brakes, coilovers, Turbo?,NOS ect. just depends on what you wanna try to do with it =/  

An 86 CelicaGT, wow! How good a shape is it in? Maybe you could up grade to a newer engine and beef it up. Newer stuff in a older chasis is always cool. Look at all the Datsun 510 conversions out there. Don't get stuck on keeping it stock unless you can find all you need. Money pending, of course, I know it isn't cheap and with todays economy... Take it slow and plan it out so you know what you're doing in the long run. I have an 87 Nissan 200sx that will be getting a newer RB engine, when the savings add up of course. Right now the bills are priority.
Have fun planning every thing out so when the time comes to build it won't be confusing. I've done that and I can't wait to get all the things i need to complete that swap!  

Its in good shape 4 its age. It just has no balls but it seems relioble thus far. So far i think the 2.0 turbo moter from the MR2 might b the best bet 4 a swap once $ permit. I still need 2 do some research.  

Sounds good. I never got into those body styles but I knew a lot of Puerto Ricans that built them back in the day. Of course, they had to fabricate every thing them selves in order to get what they wanted. They didn't succeed 100% of the times either. Some did and went to the Island to race with their inventions. You may have to to do the same thing... invent, that is. Not go to Puerto Rico.
Though, Puerto Rico does sound good right about now... The women are to die for!!!! almost bare, tight bikini wearing, sexy, sexy, sexy! Sorry, I got lost in thought.  

Well I have done some more research and met some cool and recorcfull people and here is what im lookin 2 do. I first am lookin to get some good suspension ( have not decided on brand yet) and also swap the rear brakes with disk. next thanks 2 some cool people i met at Motersport Nationals a custom boddy kit and paint is in the works.  

That's cool. I would keep O.G., though. Do all the mods to the engine and suspension and when some one gets next to you to challenge you , all you would have to say is for them to put their money where their mouth is, at the track. LOL! I'm kidding, some thing like your ride is a classic now. Build it and then baby it. Car shows are the next step for that fine classic. Have fun building it, bro.  

KONI or EIBACH  

I know it is gonna take some deff time 4 whatever gets done 2 this car but i think it will b worth it. And to the KONI or EIBACH i dont know yet what do u recomend?  

Of the two brands that TheHormone suggested, I would see what is actually available through them at this time. Those two brands make products for your car because of the pro drifters that own your same model, but I don't know what they have and to what extent. Either brand would be good to install if they have what you need. They both have a good reputation for knock out products. If going that route, reinforce the chassis with a good strut bar. It'll help.
