Hey Guys,

So I'm new to the forum and don't want to be viewed as spam but i wanted to let everyone know of a new parts provider i located a few weeks ago. it's called Elite Pro,www.elitepro1.com They have a lot of great prices, the web site looks parts limited but if you actually call them to ask about a product your looking for they have a TON more! I was mad skeptical but i check them out and they where way better then a lot of the other shops i have dealt with, not to mention they do a tone of promotional give aways to customers like discount days. O and get this if your have a Crew/team your team gets discounts on orders. Check them out, ask for Dan and talk with you guys soon

Do they have parts for mid to late 80s cars, like the Nissan 200sx or the Toyota AE84- 86, or old school Rotaries? It's old school for me and that's the only thing that has my attention, now a days. There are too many companies that deal with what's current. And that's ok because I make my money through those innovations but there are no companies that deal with old school imports. The Muscle Cars have "Year One" and a slew of other companies that cater to Hot Rods and the like. We've got nothing, in that respect, if we want to restore old school imports.

Yea dude, finding a new part for a 80's import is probably harder than finding a time machine to go back to the 80's and get the parts while thier still hot. what is your company by the way, rapido? i have the unfortunate job of unloading trucks at a home product warehouse. i am in college though, but cars are still my main interest

I know, i know, im one sexy dude!

I'm a Technician, at a Ford dealership, that drives around in an Import. I like having discussions with my fellow tech Ford lovers on how reliable my import has been since my wife and I purchased it in 1997. In gest, I always tease them and say, "If you want a reliable job, work for Ford or GM. If you want to drive around with out the head aches of having to walk due to car failure then, get an Import."
It's good that you're in college, Mtown. Stick with it and stay away from getting too involved in making automotive work a permanent job. The automotive industry is not what it used to be and getting a real pay check is demanding and tiring. Ask any tech what it takes just to make $800.00 a week, take home. It's tough. Unless you get know how and open your own shop. That's where you start to make money. It's not easy either, but at least it's yours.
College is the door way to the future. Get into buisness or try to be a doctor or some thing. You don't get dirty and you won't have the risk of not making any money. The economy is really taking its toll on the industry, right now. I've never seen it so bad. At least if you make it in buisness or medicine, you could keep the wrenches and turn them as a hobby and not a career.
