You ever had that one thing or some thing that was so special that you hoarded it like it was gold only to have some one destroy it in their oblivious ignorance as to the value it had to you? It's a long question and I couldn't even say it on one breath. LOL!
One example I have is of a transformers action figure that they don't even make any more. My son, with the aid of my very special ignorant wife, were cleaning out a closet, for some inexplicable reason. The closet was clean and orderly, so, I don't know why she had the notion of going in there. Any way, my son noticed the figurine and decided that it was his present from me. The danged thing was still in its box, sealed from the factory. I cried the loss of the value it had. I couldn't find one for under $100.00 on line. They don't make them any more. It's the Transformers Beast Wars Transmetals2 Evil Predicon Megatron Red Dragon! That was long, too. LOL!
Any way, what horror stories can any one give that will entise my sympathy towards your loss?

i use to have a bunch of old comic books like i had a bunch of superman and batman but my most valued was my spiderman collection i had all of them 1st edition given to me by my uncle who kept them in plastic cases. this was like when i was 12 when i got them. my uncle said to read them once then put them back(so idid though it was kinda hard at 12 lol) anyways a few years back my house was broken into (these guys took just about everything in my house) but the only thing that pissed me off was them taking the spiderman comics now i dont know how much they would be tell sell now (probably alot) like there was no rips or spills or fading on the comic they were MINT!!!! thats my story lol (at the time the comics were probably the only thing of value in my house LOL

Dang! I know that feeling, too. My mom threw out a whole lot of comics that I had since I wasa a kid. I had one that was really old. It was The Incredible Hulk from the late 40s. I think it was issue numder 5, or some thing. It was worth some cash. When I told her what she had done it was as if it really didn't matter. Not until I told her what most of them were valued at. Then her tune changed. Frantic, she asked me what to do. I said, NOTHING NOW! Yeah, I yelled at her. I feel bad about that, in retrospect.

I know exactly what your talking about. However, my loss is of intangible, yet more special than any "thing" that i can think of. What i recently lost is my freedom. early this july, i was caught doing stupid things with my freinds, and unfortunatly these stupid things were illegal, and my brilliant idea to take part in these events landed me in handcuffs and sent to juvenile detention. luckily, this was a month before i turned 18, so i was still a "juvenile". i waited two months for court, and during these two months i was under a form of probation where i could go nowhere myself, i had to be brought everywhere, and could only go somewhere if my parents were with me. before my court date, which was on september 10th, i was informed by my lawyer that he was "highly confident" that i would be set free because of the fact that i followed all the rules set by the previous judge. however, a different judge walked in than the one that was suposed to, and he gave me an uncertain time of house arrest, with an ankle bracelet and priveledges of going to college and work and church. other than that, im stuck at home. which also explains why im spending so much time writing things like this

I know, i know, im one sexy dude!

Lesson learned, I assume? It doesn't change my oppinion of you. You're young and will make mistakes. As long as you learned from it!
