ok this may sound realy stupid to some people but i have a 1996 chevy silverado 4x4 with a 4.3 V6 in it and an NV3500 trany. I want to drop in an RBDETT26 skyline motor. at this point im kind of doubting i would be able to use my trany. big deal. but i also want to keep this 4 wheel drive. any ideas?

ok well....it's an RB26DETT and no you cannot keep your tranny. Other things you'll need, custom axles, custom driveshaft,a new rear diff, a one off wiring harness and computer, etc.... Man unless you have serious money at your disposal get this idea out of your head

Doubting you will ever read this but seeing the incredible absurdity of your idea, i must repost. twin turbo japanese engine in an american truck? dude, youll be the only one driving that. thats like if you got a sex change but with polar bear parts. youd be the only one, and yea dude being unique is awesome. twin turbo tuner trucks? TTTT? youd be the new trend setter dude. if you got the money, go for it. but remember its still a big heavy truck so it wont be as fast as a normal skyline  

TTTT would be the insignia on the back of the bed intead of Silverado! LOL!
