I finally got my first car, its a 84 Toyota Celica GTS that I got for $500 and all it needs is a fuel pump, new battery, and one of the rocking arms needs ajustment. Im going to make it my project car. Any tips, or replys would be great.

You got that for $500.00! Who did you rob?! LOL! I don't mean it the way I wrote it, I mean, it's a deal and a half! It looks sooooo clean! Way nice find! Now all you have to do, once it runs and has good suspension, is to clean up the messy array of hoses and wires over the engine. That particular Celica never had a neat loking engine bay but it worked really good, none the less. Again, nice find!  

Hey Man congrats I had an 84 lift back and loved it. I have a header listed on ebay just look under 22 re Every other part you need you can get at www.lcengineering.com they will be your best friend and the end of all your extra money. I recomend the header a clevite camshaft and k&n intake. Enjoy you project

wow $500 thats all you paid wow good show. ive always wanted a 77 celica or a 70's model in genral. cool car it was to bad for the corolla that year though eh? not as good looking as your celica LOL (ooo fuel pump have fun there or am i thinking of the water pump?? lol)  

I took a second look at that intakew and it looks a little like the intake on my late 80s 200sx. That's funny.
