Who doesnt remember your first time racing in a car? where your driving, not riding, and whether it be on the track or the street, your legitimately racing somebody, one on one, to a set finish. i remember messin around on the street with some dude in a silver rsx. i was 16, and i was driving my 04 v6 mustang. i had recently put on the dual exhaust and cold air intake, got it tuned by some computer tuner at this dudes shop that i know, had my nitto 450 street tires, and i felt ready to set the streets on fire. we had pulled up to a light, rolled our windows down and set up a race where the first person to pass Highland, another road that crossed over the road we were on. the "finish line" was nearly 2 miles up this 4 lane, straight and moderately hilly road. it was nighttime, and about 10 at night. fortunately and incredibly, there ended up being not one car in our path. the light turns green, and it begins with the scream of our engines and the squealing of our tires. i immediately started pulling ahead, and got a good 2 car lengths ahead of this dude, but as we approached 60 mph, he started catching up and was by my left side at 80-90 mph. we were pretty close, but he was pulling ahead, and he went over a hill and his car bottomed out causing an awesome display of sparks to fly out from under his car. i started to catch back up when reaching higher rpms in third gear, all the way up until my spedometer was buried somewhere just over 120 mph, when the RED light came into view. knowing my brakes sucked harder than monica lewinsky, i had to slow down knowing the intense ignorance at running a red light at 120+ mph. The race was more or less a tie, as we were side by side before i started to brake first. it was intense, andrenalin pumping, heart beating way too fast, and car going way too fast. a new rush for me, and i since learned the stupidity of street racing like that. it was fun though, and this concludes my story of losing my racing virginity.

LOL! You and I need to get together and write a book, or some thing! You are super creative with the writing. I look forward to seeing what you have to write next. My first time ended with me in the hospital in a coma for 7 months. I wasn't driving and I was 11 years old... And yeah, it was fun... til the car lost control... The person driving lost his life... he was my friend... same age... On another note, I would like to drag race all over the Governments face for how they've let us down! Sorry for my sad memory...

man that blows dude, 11 year olds and driving cars just dont mix. 11 months being in a coma? seriously? dang dude, did you dream the whole time? or did it happen instantly? closest thing i had was brain surgery this febuary.. out for 7 hours and had a few weeks of recovery. didnt hurt, except for the catheter. it felt like a flaming splintery broomstick covered in lemon juice and scorpions dude. and yes, the governments face as well as the corrupt "justice" system. more of a punishment system really, which depends entirely on what happens to be up the judges ass that day

I really can't remember any thing from before till I woke from the coma. I remember a nurse taking my pulse and when she noticed that I had my eyes open she got real happy and tears came to her eyes. Then after she left the room to get the doctor, I think, I felt a hunger that I never felt before. Beyond that, nothing really tangible to remember. I think that my brain just shut off so that it could reboot, like a computer. That's how I see it. As far as being 11 and doing what I did with my friend, rest his soul... That's why I can say that I can't judge any body for being young and stupid. As long as it was a learning experience, it doesn't matter. Now, if you did some thing wrong and didn't learn from the mistake and went ahead and continued being a rock brain, wise a$$, needs to spend some time behind bars type of idiot, then that's when my attitude changes towards you. The old saying is, You can lead a horse to water... You know the rest. It doesn't seem like you're like that, Mtown. You made a mistake, learned from it and then got shafted. The legal system is all about how much money it can take and not about justice and teaching right from wrong. Not that they have to but when you're young a good scare will go further than ruining some ones life.
