HI  I just got a 01 mits. eclispe GT with  3.0 and its all stock and I can out run alot of cars but its not good enough for me. I like the 0-60 thing, and I was wondering what would be the easiest thing to get to bump up my 0-60 thats not to pricey.
Thx

If all you want to do is bump your 0-60(which really doesn't mean squat), you're going to need *** Basic boltons are not going to help you much. You're going to need to turbo it or shed lots of weight off your car.

It is if all you want is a shorter 0-60. At top end it may take away, depending on the design of the charger. They are all belt driven and require a certain amount of hp to get a desired hp out put. It's in the same realm of needing to spend money to make money in the buisness world. That's the only analogy I could think of.
It's worth it, to an extent. Jimichanga is right. get a turbo installed and forget about o-60 time slips. That doesn't matter unless you own one of those European super cars that are well rounded monsters. Think of it like this, while you may beat every one on the start, you will get beaten on the long run to the end. That's where it matters. Besides, 0-60 runs really gives a beating to your car.

Am I the only one that thinks 25psi is bad for a STOCK 3g motor? Yes...I must be insane.

No. I think that you are right about that. 25psi of boost on any car is kinda' high, unless it's built for it. I've seen some drag cars exceeding 28psi, but again, it's built for that. At those boost levels all they need to do is put wings on their cars and fly to the end of the track. LOL!
