I'm not sure if there is a specific swap article for that particular year Honda. I could be wrong, though. Any engine could be compatible with a little work.
Do the mounts line up correctly, are you having issues with space, are you not sure about electrial connectors not mating? I, as well as any one willing to help you, will need specifics. Have you already started swapping this engine in?
The unfortunate thing about the position you're in is that if there hasn't been a swap done to this particular model you may be alone. You may find your self having to do it on a wing and a prayer. It shouldn't be too difficult to swap out a Honda engine. You will have to measure and test fit the engine to see if it will work. It involves you having the stock engine out, unfortunately. It's not too hard, except for the hard work involved in doing it.

another thing might be the original wiring. I have heard of some people having issues with putting a v-tech engine into non v tech cars. Of course I could be mistaken, lol i've always gone V-tech so not sure.

You may have to get a wiring diagram, for reference, and get creative with making one your self. Connectors can be any thing you want it to be. All you have to do is adapt the wires to the connector. Of course, you would have to use the right pins and create your own diagram for the positioning of those pins on the connector. It sounds difficult but if your handy with the wiring diagram you shouldn't have too much problems. Find out what wire opperates what hardware and how and where it grounds, if at all, and make the circuits work on that connector or splice. If you need to splice, that is... Again, it sounds big but it's nothing to pound your head for. Take it slow and first see what the wires on the original harness do and go from there. That's why you need a wiring diagram for that specific car. It's your guid to get things running for the engine. Baby steps, brother!
Breath in... and let it go... breath in again... and let it go! I hope you don't think me crazy for that. lol!

You may have to remove the dash to access what you want. I have'nt done one but that's what it sound like you need to do. You probably may have to create your own  wireloom (harness) and have it mapped out to what each wire does and goes... I'de hate to be you right now...
