My friend just picked one up over the weekend, I got to ride it for a little, i am addicted. It was so much fun. Does anyone else have a bike here?
Im torn - what to do? Should I pick up the Honda S2000, which I absolutely love and have wanted for quite a while or do I save some money and pick up the CBR 600?? Opinions please.

Get the bike, you'd save more on gas plus you can use the carpool lane when driving on the freeway.

I would go for the car only cause I can't see myself ever owning only a bike and I would have problems transporting things I need

Choices, choices. Man I couldn't choose either in your place, and having the same issue. If you already have a car I would go for the bike and wait on the car you want. TheHormone makes a really good point too, though. In the end it's up to you. You'de have to see what's more fruitfull in the end. FUN or PRACTICALITY...

where are all you that 2000's are so cheap? its the opposite here. I could get a cbr 600 for well under 10 grand but theres no way i could get a 2000 for under 20 grand

I'm still pondering... I can't seem to make up my mind, if it were me making the choice. Descisions, descisions! I feel your pain, automotivejtm...

decision is quite difficult, but why don't you get the car you are dreaming of like you say. And to be honest, the S2000 is a damn good car. Man I would like to be in your position

You know, considering how much cheaper a bike is and considering that a s2000 is a way cool car... I'de go with g_racers advice. Do the car first and then do the bike later when you have the money to get it. g_racer makes a good point. If you dream of it, then get it when you can because you may end up regretting that you didn't jump on it if the car gets purchased by some one else. Do what you can first with the money you have!
