ok...i dont wanna sound corny or anything or like my life revolves around this website but every one or mostly every one will agree with me that the Saturns on the Top ranked list is dumb....im not a saturn hater at all...i dont care whut kind of car it is...if u make it look cool and go fast, more power to ya! but having bone stock cars and a crap load of saturns on their is starting to piss me off....Now im NOT saying my car is the Illest of all time or i even deserve to be  on there but there are sum nice cars that do deserve to be on there...like a nice RX7 i saw, or that EXO X thats already all done up in only a few months. i mean there are def. some more worthy cars that deserve to be up there and you shouldnt let them just create different log in names and rate themselves....i mean ive always wanted to get my Z in the readers rides section of the mag and i kinda look at that section as a good chance for people to get their car exposed to a wider audience. i think these tools are just making a mockery of the whole thing! i mean all im sayin is if a Saturn ION is rated higher than a supra,RX7,350Z,300ZX,EVO,STI,R32 or nething for that matter, theres something wrong with that!!!!!  

I'de like to know what it is you're talking about. I've heard a couple of others sorta' talk about this and I would like to see for my self. I'm not an editor or an administrator, not that I wouldn't mind being one, but knowing what it is you're talking about would help. Who is this saturn dude you're talking about. I agree that Saturns aren't all that, good cars, but not all that. Compared to a well tuned Japanese car, it doesn't compare at all. What's the link so that I can see what you mean?

If you look at the highest ranked/top ranked reader's rides you'll see a few Saturn Ions. Honestly its not hard to get all your friends to vote for your ride so don't take it so personally. It's not like Super Street is featuring a Saturn Ion as their feature car.  

oh no i understand wut ur saying completely but let me explain to you wut happens...its already well known that these guys keep making up false log in names and then rate themselves up...i myself rated an RX7 and an EVO X up there on the top ranked and 2 days later they were gone and filled up with all saturns again. im not at all a saturn basher but u cant tell me it gets rated higher than an RX7...whut im saying needs to stop are these guys creating more than one log in name and boosting there rating. i dont even think my Z should be on the top rated but i think other people deserve a chance rather than getting bashed right away...whut they do is as soon as another car gets up there they give it all 1's no matter how cool it is and then they give their own ride or another saturn all 5's...i mean theres a bone stock saturn up there with a grill that has all 5's with over 20 votes...is that a coincidence...i think not! haha but seriously im not tryin to make a big deal about it...i would just like to see some more deserving cars up there ya know...somebody needs to put these people in their place!  

I just got back from the link and I can see what you mean there. There is one from MarcT that stands out but I don't see what's so cool about the others that are in stock trim. I smell fish... 10 day old fish that need to be thrown out. A Saturn is a Saturn unless it stands out like MarcTs'. I can see why you would make light of this.
HEY SATURN DUDES! Quit being glory hounds with those undone Saturns. If it ain't got much to look at, then it shouldn't be put on for vote. I know guys that have art on wheels and they should be up there instead of your door wedges!  

I mean I feel you too on this too, but unfortunately there's nothing to stop them from making up names and rating themselves/friends up. Besides we all know what the real rides are. Let's give them something to be proud of since they drive Saturns. Hey just be proud that you're not driving a Saturn, or are you? =P

Hey funny you guys mention this since i'm an owner of the Red RX-7 that has 2 stars.  But I definitely don't sweat it at all.  There are a lot of nice cars that deserve to be rated high, but Reader's Rides on here has become sort of a mockery of everyone whose put a lot of work into their ride.  So thank the Saturn guys for ruining for us awesome people    

if saturns are so cool how come ive only seen like one tuned out meaning body kit and rims lol ehat does it take to impress?? i for sure know its not saturn lol

see i knew i wasnt the only one...all im tryin to say here is i wanna commit saturn sabotage! haha im not sayin u have to but if u see it rated mad high...put him em check with the rating they really deserve....they have power in numbers so well have power in numbers....then rate all the nice cars where they deserve to be!  

No you are definitely not the only one complaining about this. I started a similar topic some weeks ago and participated in the same discussion some months ago. It seems that there are no moderators on this forum. Of course here are some admins but they didn't do anything about this. You have two solutions
1. Ignore the fact that the Saturns are the highest rated. My startpage is http://rides.superstreetonline.com and the only important parts on that site is the box on the left "newest rides" and the box on the right "most commented". Of course there are quite cool saturns out there as I saw but not the ones which are highest rated. Just ignore that box in the middle.
2. Join other community. I noticed that some other sites of the same publisher are more clean and more moderated like this site.
It's an easy task to avoid those multi-, fake accounts to register. Even for this site (I suppose it's programmed in asp.net) so I suppose the guys here don't have the time to implement this feature to avoid people creating as many accounts as they want. btw. I'm a professional software developer and web development is my daily work so if superstreetmagazine wants some tips just contact me.

You guys here know what you have. nobody can tell us that a stock saturn is that cool that it deserves 5 stars.
Dragonxbreath is the best example. The guy created his ride profile and one day later I commented and rated it with 5from 5 stars all the way. The same evening dragonxbreath's RX-7 jumped into the "highest rated" box. Only one day later it was "downrated" with about 10 votes. To be honest every car and tuning enthusiast on this site can see for himself that his ride is one of the hottest here. This is not the only example. There are many more. Now the sad thing about all this that some of those SAturn and Scion guys think they have to comment your ride and talk your ride bad. I must admit I got angry about this fact and that more than once but now it's funny. I laugh every time when they comment me with Sissy or stuff like that. Most guys here are here because of the rides, to exchange information and to get entertained. I show my ride here I comment as most rides as possible since you guys at the USA have really great rides (some mods are definetly not possible in Europe because of laws), I exchange information here on the forums which is a great knowledgebase since many people who did all the work themselves are showing me every time how years behind I am in tuning and finally I got entertained wich the Saturn story.

To avoid any misunderstanding. Not all the guys are that bad. As we already notices MarcT's Saturn is really cool and carcass turbo charged Saturn kicks ass. Just ignore the fact that some few try to get their boring stock cans noticed by the others.

To cut a long story short: Take it easy and laugh about it. You know with your 350z that you have a bad ass ride and others also do. And the most important is that the Saturns do know that their rides are just crap, did they otherwise have to use such methods to get noticed?!?  

well, there only a few choices we can make in lew of this problem:

1. We can leave the site and particapate in another site that has admin/moderaters that look for such activities...I.E. www.theautolog.com  

2. We band together and keep those who abuse the site in check by rating each other rides.
