Tuners are my passion, but sometimes god hands you lemons. Instead of the Rx-7 I would love to have or the Lancer, Impreza, Civic, or Supra I could settle for. All I got was a 2000 Mustang. Sure not bad in the muscle world but I prefer seeing the pump less and less these days. So sometimes you have to make lemonade. What if I swapped the 200+hp Mustang engine for a 300+ 2JZ-GTE16 Twin Turbo supra engine? The cars weigh relatively the same and I'm all about being different. Does anyone think this would work? And would like to see it? Course it would be a pretty big kick in the face for the muscle world.

i would hate to see it. i have a civic but im still a muscle guy. you gotta keep the stock motor in it. for the money its gonna cost to do a swap you may as well rebuild the motor and just drive it with more power and not worry about how many times you have to fill up cause itll still be cheaper, unless by some miracle you find a written off supra for next to nothin

OH MY GOD! A FAST AND THE FURIOUS FAN! Did you know that the car in question had a RB engine swapped into it for the movie. It was a classic Mustang but the concept was there. Don't do it!!! It's sacrilage. I kid. It's not a common swap, though. I've seen small block Chevy engines and old school 289 Ford engines in Datsun 240Zs and a slew of LS1 swaps in Mazda and Mitsubishi but going the oppisite way is not the norm. To each his own, brother, to each his own. I have no complaints about such a venture. Even though it is sacrilage. LOL!

Hey, man! Different strokes for different folks! Remember? Tuning is tuning and we cannot keep his dreams from being fulfilled, as unatural and disturbing as it sounds. Again, we all think it's unatural and sacrilage but HEY, go ahead and make your boat float the way you want. I wont be the one to stop you or have negative comments about it. It would be interesting, to say the least. Remember F&F, though, they did it already with a RB engine...
