TheHormone makes a good point about upgrades. I never speak about the brakes as much as I should. Nor about suspension. Those items are a safety issue even if your car is not built. More HP is great, like TheHormone says, but if you can't stop or manuever agily, what's the point. You'll just end up hitting some thing from losing conrol and not being able to stop efficiently.

yeah i've already tried to understand that i'm be broke forever now...but i can live with that, and i wont be able to check this a lot in one day just to let ppl know so i'm not like being a jerk....so like upgrading suspension and brakes would be better first and throw in a few HP upgrades while im at it, is pretty much a good idea then..

Pick a car first. . you are all over the board there with the SRT-4, Civic, GSR, etc. . . then figure out what you want to do with it. Some of those cars you mentioned have a decent amount of HP. .you can focus on other things. . get a game plan first. .that question is too general and broad. .it is almost like you want us to do the research for you and recommend a car for you. .

i think u should go with scion tc, it has an option of ugradding to a super charger from scion dealer (about 3000 more). the car come with pretty good suspension already. another one i would think of is the 2007 subaru wrx, no need to do nothing to this car cause it already came with turbo and very good suspension, the only thing u need is new muffler and a front tower strut bar.

well i was looking at the tc but arent turbochargers better since they dont put stress on the crankshaft ??...no srry about that i dont want u guys to do research on the cars i mean i'm sure 99% of the people on these fourms have more knowledge than me....and i was just looking for some knowledge and views on those cars to wonder if they are good to be a starter car and have great potentional (spelled wrong) since this car will be the one i have for a very long time

Any of the Japanese makes are very reliable, even after mild upgrades like exhaust and stuff. Honda would be the better candidate as a starter car, though. Like the others, it is reliable, fuel efficient, parts are plenty ( and I mean PLENTY). Unlike the others, there are a slew of sites that cater to Honda. They may be played out in the originality department but what the heck. It'll get you from point A to point B with out problems.
