Has anyone taken the time to check out the new deathrace movie thats coming out? Not only does it have sick cars racing, there loaded with weapons and if that doesnt do it for you they throw in smokin hot women also haha this movie is the definition of a MANS MOVIE! but anyways i came across a cool site while i was looing at the vehicles its (ride. deathracemovie .net)(no spaces) it lets you take pictures of your own vehicle and put guns, rockets, armor, blood and all sorts of funn stuff to make your ride look touph...  

Yeah. deathrace1 posted a thread about it. I can't say that the movie is original, considering all the hints of other movies in it. I like Jason Stathom and the previous movie he's been in, like The One, The Transporter 1 and two, That other movie that takes place in the past where he's a knighted warrior, or some thing like that... Any way, he's sorta been over exposed, like Van Dam was with all those movies he made, including the ones that didn't get to the box office. They rated B, at best... Stathom also has another thing that makes his acting less than stellar. His fighting choreography is always the same. He's no Jet Lee or Jackie Chan! They, at least, can change fighting styles to suit the character that they play. Take Jet Lees' Movie, The One. Tell me that wasn't interesting! If you haven't seen it, do so and then you'll see what I mean. I'm not saying that I hate Stathom as an actor. He's good, actually. He's just been over played as an action hero with the same fighting style. That, of course, is my oppinion and doesn't reflect the movies over all appeal. I'l go see it. I just don't think it will compare to what Stathom has done in the past. The plot of the movie is fore seeable. Again, it's a mix of three movies that I've already seen. I.E.: Mad Max, The Running Man and Escape from New York... You be the judge.  

ehh i here theres a 4th fast and furious movie... DEATHRACE is gonna be so much better  

A fourth installment of F&F...? Now things are getting boring with that franchise. You can only get so much of it before it gets repeticious. If only for the cars, though.... I don't think that any one is making any original plotted story lines any more. The only interesting movie i really want to see is The Mummy. And that's only because Jet Lee is playing a bad guy! LOL! Yeah, I think that DeathRace will be better than F&F4. I'll wait to see it on DVD, though. I'm not wasting $10.00 at the movie theater, and lord knows how much more on food, just to see F&F4 and DeathRace. I need more substance with movies like that. Now HELLBOY2 is the movie to see! That's as original as you can get!!! My oppinion, though.  

Yeah there isn't too much originality out there. And maybe that'll change. But come on every summer needs a movie with guys putting gun and armor on cars. And since the gas consuming vehicle as we know it is about to be as endangered as a Dino. Well maybe this is the vehicle swan song we've all be looking for. At least give the sight a gander, Any movie that uses the riffs from welcome to the jungle, we can give it a nod; or not. Hell Boy 2. Is original. Hellboy can't count. he only has four fingers, three if you get technical, there is that thumb. So the "five fingered mary line....." doesn't work. Check out the sight and fix up your car. You may change your ming about Jason and Tyrese. Or maybe not.  

next installment to my car. no turbo or cold air intake. silly tuners u put guns in your car! it dont matter if its a civic youll be able to blow up any V8 (hehehe), supercharged, rotary ass any day

Hello, from the far corner of the world they call Hollywood, I just saw the Bat Mobile at this place called the Arclight. Also the bike. Pretty impressive. I guess with the money that they're making, they can afford it. They wouldn't start it up, and they had some one protecting it. The guy protecting the vehicle looked like one of the Joker's Hench men. I wonder how Death Race is going to compete with that. The one thing they have going for it is taking pictures of your car and mocking it up. 157 days more days left in the year. Prepare tomorrow by making today great.

I write like a god,........ if he or she wrote. Listen, I'm not comparing and contrasting Death Race and the Dark Knight. I'm just wondering; out loud of course how Death Race will do. And being a person who likes cars. Well I just want to see, this movie work. On some level, it'll help me stop thinking about the price of gas. And give me some ideas on how to weaponize my car. Yugos are 10,000 points.

I heard that this will be the best F&F plot since the first. Bringing back all the old characters will help that I bet. LOL  

I don't know... I think that Hollywood styled tuner cars don't do it for me any more. I'll wait for F&F to come out on DVD. I'm giving DeathRace a fighting chance at the box office. Considering my feelings towards the movie. I actually, more than not, want to see the third installment of The Mummy and the second installment of HellBoy! If you want sci-fi that's the way to go. Doesn't get any better than that.
