Even though an automatic isn't the best thing to tune the easiest way to get a bit more power is to get more air in and out of the engine. Start with a cold air or short ram intake, get headers, hi-flow cat and cat back exaust.

Curtman is right. It will also improve the fuel economy some, considering your driving habits. I'm a bit concerned as to why you dropped it so low. 3"f and 2"r? Unless you're racing, this new ride hight is unpracticle for every day use. You'll be bouncing around with all the raod conditions that there are. Low is the way to go but I think that you went a little too low. It's my oppinion, though. There are trick torque converters that are made to get more torque and that change the shifting points characteristics of the transmission. It costs some money and you may have to replace the shift band/clutches to handle it, but it's well worth the results you will get. I don't know who would make it for Mazda so shop around and make a few calls to see if it is made for it. Reconsider your ride height. I really feel that it's too low, even though it does look really nice that low.
