I hear you dude, but here's my advice. You can either completely rebuild your engine and second guess all the advice given to you on this, and any other forum, or you can go to a place that will build you a reliable engine according to what you have and want. My name is Frank and my Home # is 203-881-3072. No B.S. from me, just straight up answers. I am not my cousin!
550cc injectors are pretty close to stock. why not get the 600cc to 700cc injectors and install a performance fuel rail to compliment the injectors. I've also seen 800cc injectors. A high flow fuel pump will keep the injectors from starving. Also upgrade your spark needs as well, if you haven't already. With higher fuel flow you'll need a reliable egnition system. There are plasma coils and plasma plugs with wires available for an extremely complete cumbustion. There is also an inline intake fan to booste the amount of air that get sucked into the engine. If I remember the product correctly, it compliments with turbo equipped cars. Again, you have options but considering your fear of bad information, you don't have to do any thing that you don't want. Give me a call, if you so desire. I can get really detailed with options and real world results. It's up to you, though. Remember that an engine is only as reliable as the quality parts that have been installed.
