I can get a 1990 240sx hatch with 170,000 miles a blown head for $500. Also I can pick up a 1jz with a upgraded turbo for $1000 which is running high 300's and low 400's hp and and rest not known. My question is it worth me to spent $1500 between and car the engine? I'm still in high school and only make mini wage. Also if i did buy this car its gonna be my weekend drifted. Think this is good idea or no? Also if do does anyone know anyone or place i could contact for advice and a swap kit?  

if you're going to "drift" be prepared to fork over some cash for tires  

Let me resay this is it worth buying the 240 sx im talking for $500 and putting a new head onto it and drive it around until i get my ducks in a row?
