I have an S14 sr20det and iam trying to pick a fuel/ignition controller to tune with i have looked at the aem fic and greddy emanage and a couple others. Has anybody tried either of those. whats everybody using thanks for the help  

alot of people tend to like the Apexi SAFC-2.  But if you have a DET, you should get your ECU reprogrammed by JWT or Calum.  

Agreed, there will be great ECU/PCM issues if you don't have great knowkledge in their programming. A good tech, prefferably from a performance tuning shop, can guide you to a better solution for your specific need. There is a lot to consider when you tune your car, ie: weather and temp fluxuations, driving habbits, stop and go traffic, fuel, air density...etc., etc.! The list is long and thankfully a good tech can do all that with his skills and his eyes closed... not literally, but he/she can do it easily. The region in where you live is a techs guiding factor, no worries, mon.
