i put a new radiator fan in my 06 chevy cobalt because i burned out the motor on my old one in a snowbank (i hate alaska!)The new one was a generic one that only has two wires as opposed to my existing three wire thing, and i know that is because the old one has a multiple speed option... is there any sort of adapter out there that converts the mutliple speed three wire system to a single speed two wire system? i dont want to take it to the dealer since that would cost retarded amounts of money, and i dont really want to wire the fan directly into my electrical system, since then it would stay on all the time... the only other thing i can think of would be to put in a toggle switch so i could turn it on and off manually, but since my wife drives this car a lot and i think that would annoy her i dont really want to have to do that...  any advice?
