Event Description/
Schedule Drift Event with a twist. This will be a competition like no other !!! 1000$ to win 500$ 2nd and 250$ 3rd (Prize $ based on a 40 car count) This Event will be a hybrid of Drifting and Auto X with an emphasis on drift driving skills ! The course will be run on the clock with designated sections that must be drifted to avoid Grip strike penalties (time added ) and mechanical clip indicators that if hit will subtract time also Bonus time removed for clean runs. We will take the first 50 drivers to preregister . Preregistration must be in by 4-20-08 or 25$ is added to Reg. fee of 150$. Friday April 25 gates open @ 7:00am Competitors must sign in and be teched by 9:00 am Drivers meeting @ 10:00 am round One eliminations starts@ 11:00 am we will take the top ten Competitors from Fri. event to compete for the money on sat 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
this event will be run in conjunction with Hot-orama / www.hot-orama.com
and all competitors will receive 2 pit pases & 2 free tickets to the weekend events

is this going to be a parking lot shootout? cause the address brings up a circle track, and a parking lot...  

This event is on the circle track.  It's going to be a mini irwindale, but there is a 60-70mph banked drifting turn.  It going to be a great event plus the 1000 dollars is not too bad a prize.  I haven't seen any other pro-ams offering anything even close.  Thanks for your interest.
