When all is said and done, you still drive a gutted out DSM, with all the supporting mods to run low 12s.

And the Z06 is bone stock. And guess what? He's actually going to pick up *** in his car. Not that thats what you or I build our DSMs for, but point proven, you don't drive one of the greatest sports cars ever built.

The other day a guy ask me if I could take a Ws6 ***  I just said, "Yeah sure in the snow." He looked at me very strangly like he was saying,"Thats no fair."  

Lol. I had a guy in a WRX tell me he'd race my Camaro in the rain. By the time I wrecked that Camaro, it had run a 12.6 @109mph, on par with Corvettes among other nice cars. BUT it was still a loud ass, faded green 5 thousand dollar 1985 Camaro, and that just didnt get the chicks like a Corvette would have, even if I beat one. Not saying girls where the entire reason I started racing, but it helped    

Man This guy needs to get out more. I've seen a civic burn a ferarri.. bad and I know my honda or neon won't win any pole swingin contest I know My Kawasaki ZX-10 Can. most of my burger flippin dough goes to that. nothing to flashy more go than show. its been bored out to a 1300 and I put a jet kit on it and i actually decided after 6 second quarter was a pretty damn good way of splatterin my ass on some soccer mom's SUV, not to put a turbo or nitrous on it.
oh yeah I do american's too that's right I have a 85 silverado stepside with a Ls6 454 out of a 70 chevelle ss. I'm puttin about 840 Hp and still gettin better mileage than a H2. got 38" tires and 6" lift kit. Suprised the hell out of that new Mustang!

By the way, Honda had plants in Japan and was doing business in Japan for around 11 years before American Honda Motor Company started. Course, Honda didn't start off making car engines either.

And those are not Street Legal too.  Just because you see that Honda Civic or any other import in that Imports Sports Tuner Magazine your thinking that imports are the fastest cars on this planet.  Not True by a long shot my friend.  You must watch too much Fast and the Furious and play way too much Gran Turismo.

Your forgetting something.  All of those Import tuner cars in that Tuner Magazaine are not STOCK.  Thats the word I'm trying to get in your thick skull "STOCK".  They have been completly moddified from there stock forms and they put alot of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ in those cars.  And thats $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ that none of yous in here have.

Of cousre when you spend $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ on a vehicle you can make anything fast even a Geo Metro because you pay for speed.

So what I'm saying is Street Legal Imports cannot beat American Muscle Cars STOCK, they have to add some kind of booster to even get them going somewhere.

So I say you take a plain ol' crappy Honda Civic stock vs. a Ford Mustang stock.  Off the line the Mustang will win all the time because there HP just dosen't quite match up.

Now take the same Civic and then boost it by adding a turbo charger, yes it will move pretty quick because of its weight to HP ratio but still will not beat a american muscle car stock.

It will just be faster than most cars in its class and thats all.

I Know people w/ Civics right now that are not your average Civics and they tell me all they are good for is a quick burst of speed off the line from one stop light to another stop light, like running a 1/4 mile, after that they start to fall flat on there faces because they are not made that really made for that, they are not designed to handle top end speeds, Front wheel drive is not the best design when it comes to top end speed because all of the weight is in the front, and when you floor it you encounter torqe steer.  So to make up for this you have to have suspension work done and again it cost $$$$$$$$$$$$.

So finally when you get a stock Civic that was completly moddified it will cost you so much fu-cking money in just trying to make a 4-banger beat an American Muscle Car STOCK.  Just not worth it in my opinion.

Now remeber this, there is a limit on a engine until it is a dead end engine, you only can do so much.  So what do you do next, Weight Reduction.  Lets just say you gut out your interior, you remove tail lights and other junk.  And when you do that my friend your crappy Civic will no longer be a street legal vehicle.

And also remeber American Muscle cars are fast and they can be faster.  So what if you take that same amount of money that you dump into that shitty Civic and remodified an American Muscle Car from its stock form.  Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm WHATCH OUT NOW!!!!!!!!  IT"S ALL OVER.  You will then have a BEAST under your hood.  That poor ol' Civic will be left in the dust and it will probable self-destruk.  At least it will still have plenty of gas left over.  

Thats all Civics are good for gas savers, they are economy cars that were designed to go slow, not to race, so stop trying to make something into a race car that was not designed to be a race car from the start.  It has no real HP, no sports suspension, no Z rated tires, it was made for the low budget shopper in mind.  Pooor people.

I dun see why your trying to make such a big deal.. if you hate rice so much then don't post here, simple as that but on the other hand i have a $4000 accord that beats  $15000 Mustang GT's so where does your money=speed thing go? down the drain, second of all I live in a high altitude area where honda's run even worse an 5.0's up until the brand new GT(Havent seen one run here yet) all run between 15.5's an 16.8's.... doesn seem very fast to me.. or maybe I'm blind? Oh wait thats right your better then Imports cause your car was MADE here i forgot ALL about that.  Why would i pay for an ill-built car that has a bit of power? Cause its new? Cause its american? Nah thats cool you can keep em, ill just think of you next time i'm looking in the rearview for that BAD ASS Gt mustang i just left behind. An when you think about it the money I have left over from NOT buying the mustang would put me well beyond evo/sti territory.. an thats just the money i saved, think about it.Oh and on the flipside i have seen a twin turboed tube chassis mustang run an 8... but i also saw a supra tt run a low 12... smokin the tires 3/4 of the way down... an it was all stock outside..
