If you like Mitsubishi, you like all the others, brother. Japanese is as Japanese is. We all love our Japanese made vehicles. I have no preference in what Japanese car I get, even though I like Nissan the most out of all of them. If they were really good looking woman, I wouldn't throw them out of bed just because it was a Honda or a Toyota. As a matter of fact, I drive a Rav4 and my soon to be built 87 200sx S12 is in my garage. Love the import, not the brand. Soon you'll start sounding like Ford and Chevy guys. How annoying is that? To finish this paragraph, you got duped into writing to this thread and the guy, lldjslim, left a long time ago. I got duped too, so don't feel bad. LOL!

I like how this guy finally says something about the japanese cars that are jokes, but muscle cars arent always better. and the ford vs chevy thing pisses me off as well. i grew up around muscle cars, so i will always love them, but i grew to love tuner cars on my own. but listen dude, i love how you make fun of the idiots who put a fart can on a corolla and think thier fast and the furious material now, but you got your money thing wrong. a $15K *** car always loses to a $30-50K sports car? of course, STOCK. go buy like a $15k supra and race your truck. or go buy a $5000 prelude or integra and put $10k in engine work into it, and then race a expensive sports car. it is what it is, playboy, not how much money it costs or who made it.
I know, i know, im one sexy dude!

cant belive this thread is still goin..
but anyway why bother argueing about my car is better than your car nonsince? to each their own right? beauty is in the eye of the beholder.. if someone is a hardcore gear head why not give them the respect they desurve after all every car uses the same basic principle to make it go.. and honistly when it comes down to it its all about the builder not the car. ive seen a ford festiva make a mustang look like a stock yugo running down the track, the make or model is just a platform to start with...

i know the post im replying to is old i believe the first page but top fuels don't run on alcohol there run on nitromethane, and aren't carbureted they use around 40 or so fuel injectors a carb wouldnt be able to supply the fuel needed. and for mustanges4ever 3000 hp would run around low 7's 8000hp puts you in the 4's, now the high 3's sense NHRA shortened the distance for top fuels after that death earlier this year. anyways back to my point the only reason those top fuels beat the hp per liter ratio is they run on nitro burning around 20 gallons per run at around 60 pounds of boost so you cant compare that to a daily driven car no matter how hard you try to prove we can American cars don't make near as much hp per litter as "rice burners" as you like to call them lldjslim

I'll always like cars in general right along with the Kias, ouch! LOL! Muscle cars started the whole tuning thing that migrated to imports. We in the import tuning buisness have benefitted from the muscle cars. But for lldjslim to say what he said is retarded. He's a loser and it showed by his sudden dissapearance shortly after he got verbally abused by every one. This thread is pointless because any one with a educated train of thought knows that cars are cars. They all have their issues and we all choose what we like. That's not meaning that we all don't politely tease each other from time to time but this lldjslim deserves a good butt whoopin' for talking out of his a$$! He started some thing that is caustic and doesn't deserve a response, but, unfortunately, some of us fell into the trap that he layed for us all. Go figure. I don't know about all of you who read this, but, Tuning is tuning and I don't care what you want to tune. We belong to a family of car lovers. That's all. I like this family, it's my home now and I'll defend any one who wants to build a car, any car. Was I over the top?

Your talking *** about ricers and you own a back roads to much mileage red neck truck. Ok yes muscle cars are where it all started but lets stop and think about this. In this day and age if your gonna buy for example an old chevelle you might spend in up to and exceding 10,000-15,000+ for your car. Now dont tell me the size of the engine in your muscle car has nothing to do with your choice. Lets think about this a muscle car is known for its big engine which dotn engines create speed dumb ass. So who cares if someone buys a car and modes it out. Yoru buying a car thats already moded out. Second off No one ever said that tuners are all about beating the pants off of muscle cars. We build and tune cars for the same reason someone would buy an old classic and restore it ITS A HOBBY THAT WE ENJOY DOING DUMBASS. You talk about how your truck could beat anyone then fine you step up against some of these shops who have built 5,6,7,8 or even 900 plus horsepower cars and see where you stack up then. On a side note im reminded of the first ever episode of pinks all out. There was a guy who had moded out his Mazda rx7. It didnt have a fancy spoiler or body kit or anything fancy. Just engine work, and how far did that guy get in the show, TO THE FINAL FOUR and he was running against old muscle cars. Now dont tell me that a ricer as you put it cant beat american muscle.
Stick to what you know tex, Now go grab yourself a corn dog and cold bud and try not to let your 250,000 plus mile truck go to *** Besides when it does you know youll be looking for something cheaper and buy a honda. lol
