Hey people, it's Frank. I had to put my real name so as not to get confused with my cousin. BOOsted, I'm glad that it's cool between you and I. I picked up my idiot cousin from the air port yesterday and we didn't say much on the way home. I'm still quite infuriated with the situation between he and I and can't come to a calm resolution to his betrayal. He is a first class idiot and I really can't stress enough my sorrow towards the amount of crap that was exchanged between you and Jose. Again I'm sorry for the inconvenience of having to deal with him and his moronic ideas and views.
I've made it a quest now to try and complete this 200sx. It may take a couple of years due to the fact that I'm on my own and work for my self but I think that it will be worth it in the end. I'm not afraid of posting pics but since I wont be starting this thing any time soon I won't be encouraging any thing until I get some thing concrete done as I go along. I'll visit from time to time when I do start it and post pics.
By the way... way cool ride! I saw it while reading through all this stuff and sorting out who was who. Still plugging at it, though.
My cousin won't be participating on this forum any more. I'll see to it! Well... not from any of my computers!
I think that this medium of communication is entertaining.
DYonehara, do you work for this magazine? I think that I saw a thread of yours that mentioned that. I'm not too sure... any way, nice job if you do!

My new cam arrived this week.  Should have the motor back together in the next couple weeks.  Like I said I'll shoot a video of the dyno session and time at the track.

I can understand civic.slows' anger towards the words that have been shot at him by my cousin. I don't blame him one bit. My cousin had returned to P.R. shortly after arriving from his little vacation from there. He went to hide away aftr I had noticed large amounts of money missing. He had messed with my childrens' security and future. He ran but couldn't hide for very long... it's a small island, 100miles long by 35miles wide to be exact, and I know some people...'nough said!
Hey Steve69ss396, looks good. What's the lift durration on the lobes, intake, exhaust, you know? And what is your compression ratio looking like? Just curios to see where you're at with the hardware. It should be interesting to see what it produces. I like these types of projects for muscle cars.
With all my legal expenses in P.R., and more expense soon to be had, I don't think that I'll be starting my project any time soon... I'm in a very big hole, at this time.

Blackmonkey - The cam is 268/274 duration @ .050" with .630" lift and 112 LSA.  My old cam was the same but with a 106 LSA.  I wanted it to pick up a little more on the nitrous so I changed the cam.  Compression is a little over 13:1.

Ran into a few problems once we got into it, but it's just about ready to re-assmble.

Thanks

Hey da_shocker, the picture on your avatar is a little grainy. I can't make oout the picture too well. What kind of car is it? To me, it looks like a mid 80s 4 dr Honda. I'm not raggin' on your car, just curious. If it is, it's in really good shape.

Nice to hear. There are a lot of performance up grades for those cars. It means doing more electrical up grading to keep up with todays electronic standards, but well worth it if you spend the money to go that route. For a 91, it's in very good shape. My car has been sitting in my garage for 6 years and it may become a "father & son" project, the way things are going. Time will tell. I was considering a RB engine swap for it but the bad economy has hit me bad. Buisness is extremely slow... you get the picture.
Have you seen the gas prices around the country? There is this gas station in California that is selling gas at $5.16 a gallon, for regular! Diesel is at $5.15 a gallon!! Some one is making out at our expense and that enfuriates me. I think that it's time that we Americans stand up to this B.S.!

Unfortunately, no. I visited L.A. when I was in my mid 20s for a martial arts competition, which I didn't do so well at, for a few days. I'm in Connecticut, all the way on the other side of the United States. I liked it when I was there. There was a lot to do but, because of my limited time there, I could not enjoy it as well as I would have if I had spent a week.
I was planning a vacation this summer to go there but, due to my little issue with my cousin, I've lost the opportunity. Between the legal expenses and trip to Puerto Rico, to handle this problem, I've been a little short on money. And with the economy the way it is now... My kids lost out on the trip, mostly. I have to go back to the Island, soon, to finish my legal problems with my cousin. It's true what they say about not trusting those close to you. That saddens me...
I geuss when things get better, with the economy that is, I could plan the trip again. We'll see.

B00sted:
Feel free to drive somewhere that isn't remotely close to your house, or anywhere you work and take pictures of your pile blackmonkey. You claim to be such a hardcore racer, yet the only thing you've proven to be is a know nothing punk who spouts out misinformation, worthless "facts", and doesn't understand real concepts behind cars.

Let's see some of the stuff you claim to have. Your "excuses" are getting old.

And feel free to come to Chi-town or NW Indiana to see some real races with some real cars and real people where if you opened your mouth like you do on here, you'd find yourself in a heap of trouble.

ok blackmonkey you sound like an imature dusche. i owned a 95 nissan 200sx 5 speed, it sucked ass, i had a 96 cavalier z-24 with a szigen 3.5" full exhaust, 4-1 header, injen cold air intake, that was an automatic at that and it blew the doors off of my 200sx, now go ahead talk your *** and say "then you dont know how to drive a stick" well your wrong, ive been around cars since i was born. my dad owned a shop in my hometown of buffalo new york as well as worked at General Motors for 30+ years, my brother also works at a shop in buffalo. so i know how to drive. and i will say i agree with everyone else and say wheres your pics to prove you got what you say? i currently own a 95 eclipse gst that im waiting for the kit to come in and my buddy to get an opening in his shop to get the exterior painted. now for those of you into show cars as well as power cars take a sec to read the future look of the exterior: the body kit is going to be a mix of extreme dimensions invader and vfiber aggressive, a carbon fiber evo hood from vfiber, 18" motegi dp6 rims with kumho tires, black ppg metallic base caot with gold metal flake, blue pilot front and rear strut tower bars, 2" eibach lowering springs, new t3/t4 turbo kit (from andysautosport.com) greddy intercooler w/3" piping, balck angel eye headlights, carbon fiber look a like tail lights, a grim reaper airbrushed along both sides from front to rear, weapon r intake, greddy exhaust, (from muffler man hahaha i know i know) not sure if im goin with a spoiler yet, possible fender flares, now as for the engine internals im not sure yet, im just trying to get a few things to give me about 300hp at the front wheels, anybody else runnin a eclipse if you got any ideas lemme know, i could always use the help and advice. but back to the original reason im here, blackmoney i say you should grow some balls and go against some real racers, i say you me and every one else that knows you aint got *** all line up and let em fly, i guerantee you'll get left behind before we even hit the 1/8th mile.  oh and boosted, nice ride, looks like a sleeper that you dont wanna mess with, and d ill admitt im not a honda fan but youve done a real nice job, simple yet aggressive i give you both alot of credit. so blackmonkey what'ya say? wanna line up? ill take you on with my factory turbo and i bet ill still leave you in the back of the pack. oh and also to go off topic, i run a car club/street team in buffalo called DEMONIC RIDEZ if anyone wants to join just let me know! aight guys im out later!

Bro, you are directing this message to the wrong dude. My idiot cousin was the one orchastrating the messed up conversation with Boosted. I think that Boosted is an alright guy and my cousin was wrong to use my name the way he did. I've been playing "clean up", both on the internet and in my finances, since I found out about his little escapade on the net. I feel as you do about a lot of the things that he said. A lot of things were said and not the way that they should have been.
I agree, the 95 200sx was a little crappy, in that respect. The car that my cousin was reffering to was my 87 200sx with a rear wheel drive set up. He was passing it off as some thing that he was doing when the thing was actually a conversation that was had between me and some friends. It's only pushing a little over 250hp, or so. It's mild by tuner standards. It's been sitting for 6 years now and I don't forsee any work being done to it until my son gets older. He's 3, so I have a ways to go till then. I am planning to install an RB26de engine in it. That was a thought in passing with some friends and I think that, considering how big the project actually is, it's a good idea. Money pending, of course. My cousins stupidity cost him his hands but in the end it gave me a place to visit on the net. It's cool here. I certainly am not trying to make enemies.
Any way, I'm still trying to find out how many people he's offended, in my name, so that I can continue playing clean up. Sorry about squashing your rant, there.
Just curious, what did you install into the Z24 where you could bolt on those goodies? It must have been a monster!
