I know i've posted a simular question before but just again...
02 Sentra SE-R, got a QR25DE under the hood and i need a new engine i'd much rather buy somthing a little better then the stock motor, there-in lays m y question. What engine will swap without any major mods being done, i know some other SR engines are AWD and that would be fine i can disconnect the back drive if it isnt a constant on. So any ideas from anyone what i can or could swap in other then whats already there i need to know soon my car is about to committ suicide so im not sure as to how long she'll last

The lower end and upper end components on the 2.5L is not that strong. But I'm remembering a build concerning a stroker kit and replacing all the valve train components to the head. I have a brain fart at this moment and I can't seem to remember where I saw this particular build using that same 2.5L engine! I do remember that every stock component was replaced and made more reliable in performance aspect. I'll have to research it more but look into a stroker kit!! That would be a better thing to do than replacing the engine, at this point. Unless money is not an issue?

Dude, you changed your user name to "bluegoat666"? BlueOryx was better... biblically speaking of course. The creature that personifies that 666 is trying to fight a battle that is already lost to him. He is trying to get as many people lost with deception until the day of the lambs return. By then he will realize the futility of going against GOD. I thought I'de share that. I hope it didn't offend. And I am still looking for that info on that 2.5L build, I haven't forgotten you. I'm going to have to look in my collection of magazines to see if its in there some where. Please have patience with me, I'm hittin' 40 in two months...! LOL!!! Old fart joke...

Hey, I came across this on the net and it may help you get what you want if you call them and explain your needs. TOMEI POWERED USA INC. tel.# is (949) 855-6577 and also AMS INC. (AutoMotoSports Inc.) tel.# (847) 709-0530. They are well known in the industry and I have used them on occasion when I was in a pinch. They are very knowledgeable and can answer your questions. You will have to tell them exactly what condition the engine is in, like what's damaged and if the block and head assembly is salvageable. That requires stripping down the engine and getting it inspected, though. Have as much info about what condition its in so that they can determine if some thing can be done. They build hard core engines, dude, so be ready with some answers when they want it. Good luck. I couldn't find that magazine article about that QR25DE stroker that I told you about. It would have given you more info about what companies and the such for the parts required... The good thing is that these engines are being stroked more and more so maybe it won't be too much hassle for you. Again, good luck and let me know how it goes!
