Sorry "D", needed to spell things out for BOOsted. I guess he's satisfied with hot summer air hitting his intercooler fins and only getting "SOME" cool temperature changes for his combustion cooling. I like it a lot cooler than what the intercooler offers by it self. I'm curious about methanol injection too... some thing to consider! It's a known fact that if you cool down the air and combustion temps you get more out of that particular burst than on that particular cylinder at any given moment with out cooler temps! In short... keeping it cool, keeps it strong!!!
I'll visit the link to check things out. I like visual stimulation!

So with this ingenious innovation, how much did it drop your intake temperatures?

Logs to show?

I'm still messin with it , kid! Lets just say that it gave me 4 extra ftlbs of torque @ the 6K rpm range. You worry about giving real advice to people when they need it. You know...JJRvA with the 1984 Camaro?
How do you suggest bolt ons when the car is over 20 years old and with out knowing the condition of its engine? For some one to claim such knowledge, your advice sucks!!! Keep pluggin though, you surely are showing your inteligence!!! While you pester me with stupidity, you keep dodging my questions!
Such brave hearted attempts to make me look bad and you can't even find a real problem with the advice I give people. You did say that I don't know what I'm talking about and there's the area where you should be showing me up... AND YOU DON'T!! WHAT UP?!
Again it all comes down to you and your whining about not giving pics. I could use a real expletive here but there are kids younger than you on this forum who see this battle of witts between me and you. PG13!!! Gotta' love it! NOT!
Grow up man! Give it rest 'till the day comes, you'll see it then. If you can't respect that then you're really not worth my spit!

You do realize that the car will never lay down a dyno EXACTLY the same everytime. Too many variables. That slight increase could have come from a number of things.

I don't believe you have this, and I know it wouldn't do anything as well. Ask any professional shop.

Feel free to call Shepherd, AMS, Buschur, TRE, etc... All 4 cylinder guys and they'll laugh at you. Infact... Call TRE and present this idea to John...

I'll enjoy laughing about you with john.

You're a loser blackmonkey with nothing to back up your massive amounts talk. Enjoy being dumb. I'm gonna go for a cruise in my car.

I am aware of all those things, kid, and you still have no idea what I'm saying! Man, you are dense!!!
Now you're implying that I have a 4 banger in my 200sx? Do you not know what a RB26 engine is? Skylines have this engine as do many other Nissans. If you don't believe the numbers, google "fastest R34 from New Zeeland" and check out that sled and say that it isn't fast with the RB engine it has. It's not a 4 banger as you're implying. Now who sounds stupid.
And as far as another stupid comment that you made... The 87 200sx is a rear wheel configuration, not the front drive like you hate so much. The front drive 200sx didn't come out 'till 93 or 94 and that did look like the Sentra. Try again, kid!
I'de be more worried as to why you posted that picture of that gun! Is that to intimidate me? 'Cause if it is, I ain't the one, son! You lookin for some thing that I know you won't be able to handle!!! And that I can promise you with my life! I FEAR NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DEATH IS JUST ANOTHER EVENT IN LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I can make sure you come with me! DIG? You better have a good reason for that stupid irresponsible posting. It does look bad on your character as a person. You have no idea what I'm thinking right now about that. If you knew you would shake in your boots. I'm smiling a really disturbing smile right now! I hope you have a reason and I'm giving you the benefit of doubt 'till then!
Oh And I hope you had a good ride, son!
When the time comes to race each other, you'll be with yours and I'll be with mine and company +10!!! Say... from your area? If you only knew what I knew!!!! I'de be a little worried at this point cause I have long reaching fingers. I'm waiting to see your response to the gun... so you have time to calm things down with me. Stoopid!

Posted for ya. Amazing how you blow stuff way out of proportion...

As for the RB26, it's an inline 6 cylinder. I know that. There's one sitting in my storage facility.. Would you like pictures? More than I can say for yours that you claim to have.

I said they were 4 bangers because you seem to think I said they couldn't make any power in another post. It wasn't to say that an RB26 is a 4 cylinder. It was just 4 guys I listed with 4 cylinders that make a little more power than your pile.

Like I said, give any of those guys a call, tell em your idea.

You like to retract on what you imply in your meanings and you've made it a sport! That makes me very dumd in playing with you. I'm done, sport! I've already told you what my plans are when I'm done and I'll come to search for you when I'm done. That doesn't seem to stisfy you, though, and that's ok with me. you are foolish and when I do find you to race, you'll see then. Have fun talking to your self for a while. I've said my peace! Now you must respect!!!!
I hope you understand where I stand on threats. I'm glad you made clear on why you posted that gun. I respect you for that and I have no issues with you on that. Nice gun, though!

I don't imply anything when posting. I just post what I mean, and say.

No problem Black.

blackmonkey is an idiot....i noticed this right when he started talking *** about my k24 swap (in an EJ1) his a/c intercooler idea is *** in it's purest form.....an a/c condenser works likes a raditor or intercooler.............. essentially what he would do is add alot of heat to his intercooler effectivly creating it into a heat sink.......... pretty much afte the compressor compresses the low pressure gas of r12/r134a to a high pressure gas......the heat exhacnger (or condensor) removes heat in the high pressure gas allowing it to becomea liquid once again near the bottom of the condensor.........then forcing it through the thermal explansion valve turning it into a low pressure gas (cooling the cabin air)

i can see why he uses the a/c condenssor theory to try and fool inexperinced people but it is just PURE bull *** condesonr hasits own "fins" and verticle
routing take a look for yourself........

any way here is my piece of "junk" in black monkeys mind LOL

BTW i can go on and on about how i hate the new honda's (02-04 si hatch and 06-07 si coupe/sedan and mugen) alot of it has to do with macpherson struts, the ecu on the newer non k20a3 si's and the block diffrences in the k20z3 versus a k20a2.........but it's all relativley boring to you guys (wh are not in the honda scene) so enjoy everything on the engine was done for a reason feel free to ask why and ill try to explain it as simply as possible

little bit about what has happened since i cam back here last: trying to get certified in welding (stick for construction) got accepted into CSUSB engineering major
*** YES!

still workingwith solid works, and other freeware version of CAD, and i am a regular on sourceforge under the various PGMFI projects......... honda's IMHO especially 88-00 are the best platform to start off with (this is only IMHO)

i was an apprentice mechanic at 16 and a full time tech at 17 quit when i was 18 over warranty work...never got customer pay meaning i got payed less than everyone else (right hwne the 10 year 100k cameout)

Hey civic.slow, nice story... and that makes you responsible in what way?
You still talk and don't read too well. I did say that I was still working with that, didn't I? Things take time to work out and test. You know... work the bugs out? A subject you should be well versed in. And the pics are still the same! I would have thought that you finished by now! Since high school...? All of 2 to 3 years ago for you... keep pluggin', you'll get there soon. I got no hate for you either, son. But I'll make sure to notify you too when the time is right, mean time, don't embarras your self with your incompetant comprhension and lack of reading skills when you reply to me. It don't suit you too well when you can't keep up with the conversation. Just wait like the good little boys you aught to be!

Oh, and I'm basing the design of the cooled intercooler off of Vovlos system. A.C. core in the intercooler. It worked for them, but it's too small a system for my taste and power range. And I don't know if they still use that technology, so for me it is some thing to tinker with! Still messing with it, like I said before...
You tried saying  that I meant a condenser, you're too funny, man!!! lolol!!!!! If I were to ise a condenser in place of the A.C. core type of system I would have an over heat issue. But no, you assumed wrong and it made you just that much dumber. You have no insight to function and design when talking. You could have just questioned me and i would have explained better, but you didn't. Keep attacking me and I'll have an answer every time. You have no reason not to believe me other than the fact that I won't give you pics at this time. That is the only reason you and BOOsted are attacking me where you can. Keep pluggin', though, 'cause some day I'll learn some thing from either of you. And I'm fine with that.

I would post a picture of my Supra, but since I don't really own one, and I'm actually just a poser 13 yr old trying to impress everybody that I have a supra....well...I'll just post a pic of my NEIGHBOR'S Supra, since I don't have any good pics of my Big-Wheel Green Machine right now.

Enjoy:

^^those are with the old Ruff Racing 278s...

Here's my...um...the neighbor's new 5zigens:

i already proved your "theory" i mean rambling ineffecient........ seriously man

WTF an a/c core...........an A/c radiator...........BTW its called a condensor (that radiator thing you are reffering to is called a condensor)

the other thing or "pump you're reffering to is called the compressor)

i explained how the system works........how your theory will not what else do you need? i can't keep up with the conversation?

i belive i added a good bit of technical knowledge to the conversation.............seeing is how i used to be a mechanic/honda pact/automotive engineering major until i decided to take up a welding corse that inspired my to become a mechanical engineer.

ya the civic isnt done yet......we're probably looking at 80% chassis and the motor sitll needs alot of work....maybe the "k25" stroker from crower IDK i don't want to be the first to use it........ maybe ill just stick to stock.....but first i got tuition to pay! and i just got a *** parking ticket at school today ***

and.blackmonkeyyou think that i know nothing about your car?

i keep telling you i had one as a resto project when i was 15 y/o

i still am a member of the small but dedicated forum to these "gazelles" or s12silivias............im still on s12silvia.org

i had the CA20E motor in it with the 8 spark plug igntion system (wired ass smog thing the secondary spark plugs were to clean the unburnt junk up)

i had s13 240sx rear seats in it, nismo harnesses, and 1971 nissan 240z wheels on it (this one was my first hot rod man then i moved up to a civic which has a better suspension and motor IMHO

the rear end had independent ears but it had much like the 01-07 civics a remote mounted shock and spring setup unlike coilovered like the civic

i miss that car it was fun to drive......it had 4 wheel discs, and i really wanted to swap an sr20det into it..

here are the pics:

see my civic in the back? it's the white car in the driveway
