That's faNTASTIC! Love what you're doin with it. Can't wait to see it burn up some tires on the track. Are those pistons domed? I would have thought that flat tops would have had more of an advantage for cumbustion... I guess that the less area you have in the chamber the more compression. Am I wrong? I need some education, sorry...

Thanks. It is preferable to run flat top pistons but compression is power. With flat top pistons the CR is 9.6 and with these pistons it's 13.4. To get the same compression using flat tops I would have to mill the heads from 64CC chambers down to 49CC's which is too much.
Should run 9.60's at close to 140.

Makes sense... I've been educated, thanks. Still would love to see how it roars on the track. I'm patient, though. Take it slow and build that beast! I can't wait to get the money to start my project. When I'm done we could all meet up some where and have a mini car show or some thing. Now I can't wait just because I put things in my head...

Ok, I hate to do this, but I need to.
First off, I want to point out that BlackMonkey in no way represents Club-S12.org, or the general community of "S12" owners. The "S12" is the Nissan 200SX from 1984-88, also called "Silvia" and "Gazelle" in other parts of the world.
Second off, I myself do not accept this claim he's made here. And to close the circle for everyone, here is why:
http://www.club-s12.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=22154
We do indeed have a number of members who have swapped in RB engines into S12 chassis, as well as a few other oddball engines like the VH series V8, and even a VG30DETT. But the majority of swaps in our cars are SR20DET and KA24 engines. And to date, the official word is nobody has reached a rediculous 1,000hp in one of our cars. Not even close.
The fastest S12 in the world was Ben D's car, in Australia. His used the stock Japanese FJ20ET, a 2.0L DOHC turbo engine that is considered to date one of the beefiest four cylinder engines every produced by a Japanese auto manufacturer. His car ran a 10-second 1/4 mile, and here is the link w/ videos for proof:
http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=112999
So yes, our cars, given the right attention, are capable on the track. They also do decent on road circuits, too. But nobody has a 1,000hp RB in their S12 at this time.
And one more thing... Club-S12.org's community tends to appreciate other performance platforms, too, so you won't hear people bashing 3KGT's, or Civics, etc. Well, not too much. Every forum gets the occasional hater, but you get the point. We aren't elitists, we have realistic views and expectations about our cars, and we generally appreciate anyone's efforts on any ride of any make or model, if it's done well, with a lot of hard work, and isn't powered by bulls**t.

Hey Arro, I'm going to post it here as well as on club-s12. What are you going on about, man? I haven't bashed club-s12 nor have I said that I have a RB26DETT engine at this moment. If you've read and payed attention you would see that it's only plans! So, what's up with the rant?! Your site couldn't give me what I needed in the form of info on this type of swap, so for me, it's on to where I can get the info. If any one in your site did do those types of swaps, I didn't get much response from those people. Chill out man! I like club-s12 and in no way would I talk bad about it! DIG?! And I'm not trying to represent any thing either... Where do you get that from? Also, nice way to read some thing and not see that I wasn't the one posting what YOU read and posted on C-S12. You really must get your facts straight! No problem, you're not the first one to miss that. And please make sure you know why you post what you post and claim some thing like you did with out facts. I'm not trying to impress any one.

LOL you never bashed C-S12, yes, but I wanted to make sure that nobody got the idea that you were typical of what we were like. I'm sorry, but you haven't ever provided any solid evidence for anything, and on here you said your car was RB-equipped and 1K hp, but on our forum, you say it's *going* to be an RB w/ 1K hp. One of our own members spotted this thread and pointed it out to us.
There's nothing complicated about this situation. You've been telling stories that don't match on two different forums, and on both forums, people called you out on it. As a testament to Super Street forums, people on here seemed pretty reasonable about it, and I have to applaud the Super Street forum members for that! We've also been pretty tame in our reaction to your "claims", but I felt it necessary to separate our community from this.
The facts are straight on my end. Have a nice day

So as to enlighten your ignorance and get you up to speed on events till now... I have a cousin that for a while used to work with me out of my home fixing cars and such. I helped him learn english, in the 4 years that he and I worked together. Are you clear on this so far? To make a long and drawn out story short... The dude impersonated me online, stole from my bank account, and the last thing I recieved from authorities in P.R., the dude also had my SS# and some other things that would have ruined me financialy. I may not have been kosher in my behavior towards him, but no one steals and back stabs me. I never claimed to have an engine of that proportion, champ! When I found out all the crap that was being said in my name on the net I had to go on the offensive to reclaim what little reputation I still had. It's not my fault that you don't read all the way through things. What you got was before I found out my cousin was on here crapping my words out of proportion with out my knowing. The only thing I had that I could have posted on here was taken and obliterated! If I had the engine I would Have loved to post pics of it. Unfortunately, my bad luck was your loss. Some times things happen and for no apparent reason. It so happened that I got the crap end of it all. Please, don't make judgement calls with out reading and getting full facts. Sure I said I had a 250hp CA20E. Sue me for being an idiot with technology. Computers were never my thing, SORRY! Give your poking a rest, dude. I've already stated that I would give you pics when I was ready to start the RB swap. I don't know what else you want, holmes, cause I surely can't give it to you at this time. The facts on your end aren't reading too well and completely!

Yeah, miamito, it is! It's too bad that people like fighting and poking becuase they fail to read what has been going on. I like Arro, he's down to earth. I don't mind that he doubts because it's my fault by not helping the situaton out with pics. The fact is I'm super dumb on computers and I'm lucky to even be here doing this. I think I've had enough of trying to clear my name. Actions speak louder than words. Computer crash course time!

Once again, You can't clear your name when the writing styles match between you and "your cousin"...
Club-S12 is not a place for Liars and kids who talk with no proof. Neither is Superstreet.

Look, it's not the idea of a 1,000hp RB26DETT that I doubt... it's having it in an S12 first off... the twin turbo manifolds interfere with the brake master cylinder for one thing. That's why RB20 and RB25 are the only ones that have been done. Is it possible? Sure, but I seriously doubt you have done so.
But the other thing is, you claim to have a 250h CA20E. And that tips the scale for me on the believability factor.
As for me personally, how can you "like" me and believe me to be "down to earth"? LOL I have a reputation on C-S12.org for being anything BUT :P
All anyone has ever asked of you is to give some credibility. You know, if I had what you claim to have, I wouldn't say jack *** until I had some way to back it up, or until others saw it and could provide testimony that it did indeed exist. I'm not a "kid", in fact I'm in my mid thirties.... I know not to make grand claims without the means to back it up.
Edit: yeah, this does kinda suck, and I want to appologize that I added to the pile of nonsense this thread seems to contain. But I wanted to make sure that this guy doesn't give everyone here the idea that all S12 owners are unrealistic and talk out the side of their mouths. From what I can tell, everyone else in this thread should get props for handling things pretty calmly. I might not have reacted the same if it had been me or my car he was putting down. And no matter what he says, I took it as him putting other cars down.

And again, I'm telling you that I haven't done any thing on this car yet. I haven't got the engine to do this. My cousin really made a mess of things with his dumb ass comments while he was on here. And this is for Xano. When people hang out with you they tend to pick up your manerism and speak. Can I help that, dude. It's not my idea to say things like having some thing when I don't! DIG? You still haven't been paying attention to what I'm saying. You're still stuck on things that I HAVEN'T said. Or do I speak some foreign language to you? Any way Arro, you're right about the space. There is a lot of things that have to get moved or fabricated to work. I never said that it was going to be easy. The only thing I ever wanted was to see who else did this kind of project so I could get a heads up on the severity of the job. That's all! I've been taking pictures of the car and my kids, since some one who shall be nameless, doubts my kids as well. But that's another thing that pisses me off about you and Xano as well and I won't be bothered by it... I don't kiss ass, as you put it XANO, so you can kiss mine if you want. If you want to block me from your site, go ahead, holmes. But since you want to prove me wrong at all costs, it would benefit you to see the pics before you do, Mr. XANO McDoubtsalot! You'll never see if you do, holmes, and the only thing you prove is that you're a bully. Yeah, I'm to blame for your doubts and your attitude towards me and I don't blame you, so, figure it out till I put those much desired pics. I found out that I need a cable to hook up to my PC and transfer all that's on my phone. Again, Chill!
