ok, so here's what i need help/advice on.

i'm 19, almost 20 year old.
i never tried in school, i slept, so i have a shitty gpa.
i lost my license for awhile last year, and i'm paying almost 250$ a month now for car insurance.
reasons: i've hit two deer at 90mph+, i let a 15 year old drive my car and i talked her into trying to drift resulting in us flipping and my head going through the window, and about 4 speeding tickets(60mph in a 35, 2 75mph in a 55, and an 89mph in a 55)

as you can see, my life is pretty *** up.
i just now finished community service for making a small drano bomb, and someone called the cops for gun shots and they were trying to charge us with a felony.

i am really interested in graphic design, drifting, racing, cars, autobody, computers, etc.

i am moving in a few months to go to school.

but i can't figure out what i want to go for.

i kinda want to go for autobody, but i'm not sure.

i'm really interested in computers/technical things, so it almost makes me want to go into a tuning/tech area with cars.

the major thing i suck at is the engine bay, i know the basics, but thats about it. so it keeps me from wanting to really go into something too mechanical.

i've done bolt ons and *** but i hardly consider that mechanical.

i drive a 5 speed nissan now with a twin cam, i hate FWD but until i go to college i'm basically suck with it.

i have some skills in photoshop, i know my way around it, and i can make you anything you want given enough time. i can rip my computer apart and put it back together, i can teach things to myself fast. as a kid i'd sit and build small robots from toys i'd rip apart. i street race when i have the chance, sadly my nissan smokes mustangs and other *** and all it has is a performance clutch/modified gear ratios. i drift, but its not so much drifting anymore with a FWD.. -_-

and i have a 68 california special mustang sitting outside i'm working on restoring, so don't think i'm all import vs american vs italian, i think each side has some amazing cars and to take sides is more of a social thing.

well there are my interests/skills/thoughts/random stories.

i just need someone who knows more about them to show me why i should go into a certain one and why i shouldn't.

any responses are appreciated.

Dude, I don't want to sound condescending when I say this and forgive me if it offends you!
Your age and experience, or lack there of, is the reason why the insurance premiums are so high for people between the ages of 16 and 25. Your brains have not matured enough to understand what it takes to drive. I only target this comment to the irresponsible youth, not the ones with good driving records. You've sorta' proven that you are not worthy of having a sports car or any thing that performs. Your insurance premiums will be too high for you to get any thing in that area. Stay with what you have... the daily driver... and stay safe! Use your head and wait till' you are 26 to get back into a performance car. By then you will have your head on strait and can afford to get what ever car you want. ASSUMING, of course, you haven't killed your self by then or landed in prison for some thing stupid, like Drano bombs!!! You sound like you want to straighten out your life, but you damaged your driving record and your reputation and every thing will be that much harder for you... not impossible, mind you, just harder! Take care, kid, and make a carreer for your self in computers. It's safer for you. I'm 39 and have seen kids, like you, make it. Be patient and take it slow 'cause you only have one life to do it right.

lol

i take no offense to the things you said, its kinda ironic you said them actually.

it snowed/sleeted here and i was out sliding around and doing donuts

i guess i need to realize even when i am 39 i'll still be able to have fun and have performance cars.

i'm all about the here and now, i don't know where i'm going but i want to get there fast.

if i went into tech i think i'd have a lot of fun with that.

Donuts, huh? I guess it's a youngen thing! lol...
You're allowed, I guess! Think of what you want in life and go straight for the jugular in what ever that may be! I spent a lot of time doing the wrong thing when I was a kid, and lord knows that I tried to do the right thing... I've been on my own since I was 14 and things never really went my way early on. Learned a lot of hard lessons. Learned martial arts as a result, as well. In retrospect, I teach what I've learned for the betterment of those that want to learn. I'm not Bruce Lee or any thing like that but can fight with the best of them with respect. Any way, I just read what you posted and it reminded me of this kid that I trained some years back. Good kid, just misguided. Once he got his head on straight he died in a car accident. A drunk driver plowed into him head on while he was walking on the side walk. He was going places in life and got snuffed by a drunken asswipe! Not that that is going to happen to you or any thing... you just reminded me of him. Look ahead and keep clear of bad influences. You'll thank me later. A great man once said... "You only go as far as you want to in life".

Projectctt. My advice for you is go to college or technical school. You can take 2 years in computer stuff or Graphic Design and get a decent job after. Then you can buy what ever car you want and have lots of fun. I do graphic design right now for my provincial government and make decent cash, nothing that crazy but I get by. I'm 28 now and did my share of stupid stuff too but now I think I'm getting a little smarter.

Black monkey. What style of martial arts do you do? I just started taking a Kung Fu class in a style called Hung Gar and I'm loving it.

That style is one of the strong styles in Kung-fu (or Gung-fu, as they say in China). Good choice, but don't limit your self to one style, if you can help it. I had various teachers growing up and got lucky in life with the quality of my teachers. Through the various teachers I was able to get into combat infuenced Tai-Chi forms, WinChun and informal Monkey forms all of which were dedicated to combat. There are hundreds of Monkey forms and I was fortunate enough to learn 4 different styles. I also dedicated a lot of time to Chinese boxing and Chinese grappling. I'm 39 right now and still want to learn as much as I can about all the arts out there. But, being mortal has it's limits! lol, lol!! And work doesn't allow me to spend as much time to learn more arts! I'm good where I'm at for right now. I can't complain! At least my kids will benefit from my teaching them what I learned.
